I didn’t like CQ style but we would beat Qatar and Uzbekistan if CQ was still the coach …

We have become a second tier Asian team.

In my opinion:

Tier 1: Japan, Australia, Korea.
Tier 2: Saudi, Iran, Qatar, Uzbekistan.

In tier 2, I'd place Saudi above us, Qatar will eventually surpass us, if not already. I'd say it's pretty close between us and Uzbekistan.

Yeah they were good.

Guess what, smaller teams play compact football against us. it works.
Not just in Iranian football but world football.

whereas in a game with an opponent that wants possession - we play way better (Japan). It also allows quality to come through.

I asked a dalale friend he said that Sephan wants to sell both but because of their lack of playing time in the team Melli and lack of goals they have scored they won’t get a high price they asked papa GN to play them so they can score and he gets a cut of the transfer….

Uzbekistan is definitely a decent team. This game wasn’t a “must win,” but we could’ve utilized the likes of Ghaedi, Gholizadeh, Mohebi, and Ezatollahi if they were around.

One thing I hope GN noticed was the overall timidity of our central midfielders in helping to build up attack. They need to be much more aggressive in wanting to receive the ball. Passing the ball back is fine to momentarily receive pressure, but they must make themselves available again. Ghoddos needs to take more calculated risks in his overall play.

I thought ARJ played very well. He needs to continue this more confident, freer way of play.

1. If GN went all young today and we'd lost, the federation would fire him promptly and for good reason. TM coach can't experiment with our qualifications when the results are not assured.

In order to be a tier 1 team. You have to play good consistent football. Go rewatch our last 10 matches. The only thing that has been consistent is the lack of professionalism, lack of organisation, random tactics and 0 game plan.

TM is currently not in anyway a tier 1 team. Not even in Asia.

The main highlight for me in this match is how YET AGAIN Beiro nearly cost us the match and the ONLY F-ING reason he didn’t pay for it is bc we play in Asia where teams can’t punish you for amateur mistakes unless it’s SK or Japan we are playing.

min 77 when the Uzbek player takes a shot on goal and misses….beiro was 3-4 yards off his line for absolutely no f*cking reason anyone with elementary level GK common sense can tell you he was unreasonably far off his line and if the Uzbek player was smart all he had to do was chip him or go for placement on his shot and he would have easily slotted that past Beiro.

min 79…..classic Beiro brain fart almost leads to an easy Uzbek goal. Could have and should have been punished for his massive, stupid brain fart I have no idea what was going on in that empty head of his. He does stupid sh!t like this all the time and I am so freaking sick of it.

anyone defending Beiro at this point is treasonous to TM and will be the first person I point at when we concede stupid goals in crucial games which at this point is inevitable with him in goal. It’s pure blasphemy at this point…..
