Why don't we have unofficial friendlies during Euros?

I might not be informed enough, but are there any rules stopping us from having unofficial friendlies during the euros?
This would be the perfect opportunity to test some B team players.

Does the blame fall on team management or the IFF?

Iran can’t organise friendlies during official international dates, no chance they can organise any unofficial ones lol

Surly if our women's team can organise friendlies with Belarus, our B team can organise one with them and another with Cuba or something...

It's summer break for the next couple of weeks. So clubs don't really have a say until last week of June, right?

yea man excuses are always aplenty for IFF, especially when it comes for not organizing much needed friendlies .... TM is clearly going through a generational change phase and as such playing meaningless test matches are absolutely vital for injecting new blood..!! ffs ... how many of TM regulars are 30plus ..? nearly half ??

this next week coulda been a good time to schedule another game perhaps... ?? roosieh keshieh khali ro bord be Cuba.... that was perfect upportunity for cheapAss IFF to throw in our 2nd team hopeful onboard for a friendly and mini carribean vacay in cuba..?

how about joining WAFF again..? or fkn whateva...!!

Clubs are entitled to player at all times of season if they are under contract and its not a FIFA window.

Well then pick players from Clubs who are willing to let their players go. I'm sure that's achievable with domestic clubs at least

                  Great question!

I believe the answer is : because we don't have CQ.

CQ pushed IFF and the league and the clubs to release our internal players...and managed to find an African team which would be available. No one else in Iran cares enough for TM to do that.

                    yep
that's definitely a big part of the reason why..?
our football progress is simply not a priority for mullahs running the country and they have their cronies installed in IFF to do the absolute bare minimum with lowest associated costs, just to prevent the fans from going apeshitt and complaining ..!
same reason why the likes GN, will all likely keep their jobs until their positions become untenable due to fans outrage or it gets close to important tourneys like the WC where they know they need an upgrade to save face and not imbarrase themselves and the country on world stage..!

Because players need vacation too. Their season is over. They need a vacation before pre season.

You're asking players who get paid by clubs to take a few weeks off and play for TM for free?

Even if the player wants it, most clubs now a days wont' accept it. This isn't 1992 where Ali Parvin can smack people around and get what he wants.

Think about the players health too ...most of them are coming off of 60-80 games played accounting for domestic league, cup, continental competition. On top of a deep AC run and a few international FIFA days. Giving their bodies a good 2 months of rest and spending time with family is better than a dumb friendly vs Kenya where we will not get anything from it lol.

If anything, we need to schedule more U20 and U23 friendlies

How do other nations have unofficial friendlies then?
