hit the nail on the head….UAE league is pure poison. QSL is a good league for Asian standard but UAE league is pure trash.

Agreed UAE is trash and players regress there. Of the Arab leagues QSL & Saudi are good (no Iranian players in Saudi that i know of).

Our domestic league is actually decent. It just needs to be privatized and coaches need to be incentivized to play youth. Its a poor league from a development perspective.

Underrated keeper imo. I really enjoyed his footwork a few years ago. Shame he got dropped over 1-2 mistakes when the whole team was bad during Skocic era

Unfortunately his form has declined significantly in the past two years. There's a reason the best he can do is 2nd division of Portugal.

I forsee a Haghighi type future for him (bouncing around PGPL and garbage European leagues).

This reminds me of an old Samad movie in which Eynollah (Bagherzadeh!) kept claiming he had offers from the big city "dar shahr beh ma pishnahadhaii shod"...در شهر به ما پیشنهادهایی شد...but he had refused . Now every player in Iran has a few offers in Europe...ball boy, bench warmer, etc.
