The problem is he is so insistent on his way of playing and he often loses the coaches half.

In a World Cup the quality of coaches is higher than what he would face normally and teams with equal or lesser talent might beat us off better coaching(we see even Uzbekistan and Qatar matching us now).

CQ got the lineup wrong vs England but Southgate also picked a team that negated our strengths and made us uncomfortable.

If any team picks a formation that does similar to a GN team(like a parked bus or a high press) we have a high risk of falling apart
