They effectively lay down sod, which means you really need to leave the pitch alone for weeks.
That doesn't happen in Iran.
Shahre Ghods never thought they'd be hosting such games in a million years.

Agree. Even his haters can't deny he's been very good in terms of controlling the pace of the game and moving the ball around. His finishing is very poor though.

Garido needs to make some changes in the middle of the field. Soroush and Ahmadzadeh do nothing defensively.

The sad reality is what our football has regressed and other countries football has been improving and they're catching up. Advancing from the group stages used to be a piece of cake for our clubs, whereas nowadays they all are struggling.

Although most Persian gulf Arab nations Are buying world-class players and that by itself is one of the reasons we struggle against them

This isn't the game to judge.
This kind of field and rain is kryptonite for Persepolis' play.
Pakhtakor always does well in bad weather and air ball play.
