Why would you take a promising Young Iranian player from Russia, and let him rot in an Iranian Club? TM first. And its much better to be in Russia than Iran

Maybe Torabi can come back to Persepolis?

Any other good playmakers in Iran?
Torabi and Amiri were the skeletons that kept PP together all these years, the moment PP let him go I knew it was gonna be a huge struggle.

IMO y'all have two options, either waste money on some 34 year old foreigner or invest in a highly talented youth player like Limouchi. Honestly Hosseinejad would be great too in this team even if he is a little raw lol.

Not only Saudis are crushing us from a footballing perspective, their fans seem to be so much organised and involved than us.

This Al-Ahli match is a great atmosphere.

They're outspending us on club football, but its unsustainable.

Our fans can do great things now if we were allowed to have fans!

Because playing in a top Iranian team is better than playing for a relegation contender in a MMA-ball league. I have sadly spent time watching their matches... and let me tell you buddy, their team is mid-tier PGPL level.

Even when we had fans in the stadium, it was 90% scattered boogh, played out Icelandic clap, and maybe one semi coherent song.

Vuvuzelas are finally banned (and ban is hopefully endorsed) Fans are much better now in the few games we've actually had.

I dont agree at all. Playing good in a bad Russian team Can get you a transfer to a better team. Instead of being stuck in the Iranian League and maybe get a transfer to UAE. Plus tactically Iranian Football is bad. There is a reason why Iranian players abroad are smarter tactically. Specialfly Those born abroad. I would much rather have them in Russia than Iran

I mean Sepahan's flares and TIFOs were so terrifying that it made the Saudis call the game off over an inanimate Soleimani head.

I think Iranian fans are getting there.

                        Please give me the youth.

Persepolis is not winning ACL this year. Give me the youth.

After watching Kanaani today it is clear that against a youth African or S. America in 2026 we will be in for a bloodbath. These guys cant handle Kojo already

Watch Zare (21) with Gol Gohar, Babak (23) with Malavan, and Aghasi (27) with tractor then wonder why Shoja/Kanaani would start over any of them 🫠. Not over hyping any of them either, they have plenty sootis sometimes, but their current forms are like 4 levels higher than our current CB starters.

Especially when we have conceded 16 goals in 18 games with Kanaani and Shoja starting majority of them 😃.

But IMO ultimately our defensive problems are stemmed from our shape....it's not a surprise that when Ghoddos started playing deeper next to Saeed our defense got 50% better.

A slow Saeed who can't run back + 2 CBs with bad knees = whatever we got as defense in this TM

Those two playing and our shape compound our issues and are not mutually exclusive. Playing slow CBs who need to make every 50/50 into a colossal slow motion physical tackle will only be exacerbated when out of shape.

I think Ghoddos playing deeper only meant we had another capable player deeper who could beat the press which means less chances for our CBs to get exposed.

I'm not asking for a 21 year old Fifa career mode project. Any player less than 28 will last at least 4 years in the squad if they are good enough.
