We would have been in tougher group if we wanted to chose ourselves lol
North Korea away match will not be easy thought!

      Good group.
Asian fans think group B is the easy group by the way.

I don’t need excitement or a fun group.
I’m old enough to remember TM f***ing up easy games so I don’t think any game is easy.

Qatar and Uzbekistan know us inside and out so they’ll be tough.
Kyrgyzstan and North Korea are hard to travel too.
UAE also will play well above their level against us.

Seems easy but with ghalenoie leading this team any group is the group of death for team Melli.

            Top 2 = WC

3 and 4= goes to next round

Next round= two groups whit 3 teams , the two groupwinners =wc

Group runners up= plays one match in a neutral venue, the winner= qualified for intercontinental playoff

Thought afc gave them the punishment for the remainder of their group matches if the last round not the next. In that case it’s an excellent draw if we don’t have to go to Pyongyang

they only thing standing between us and the World Cup is Uzbekistan and Qatar , you beat both these soundly we thru , so we start in September and by November we would have already played 6 games ,,, theoretically 18 points is the magic number to qualify, so get 6 wins in a row and, we can basically guarantee qualification with 4 games remaining if we play our cards right ,,,.

but boy we avoided group b and c , with GN idk man we so shaky idk if we would have made it lol if we got group b or c ,,,,

we always get the easier groups avoid all the hard team I hope that we take it more seriously and at least prove a point beat Qatar and Uzbekistan to show we are a top Asian team again …
yep we are very lucky- Qatar have had some key players retire too so they are in transition the best time to play them is now. Iraq away would've been hell so too would Saudi and Australia.

Qatar and UAE away are no way near allienitating atmosphere's as Iraq,Saudi , Australia , Indonesia can be - we lucked out big time from an away match perspective North Korea and Uzbekistan seem the trickiest ties

Positives: we avoid Saudis and long travel to Australia. We also avoid the Arab group B. We lastly avoid the snake (Branko).

negatives: we have Qatar and Uzbeks (again!) who seem to have GN’s number (he is so 1 dimensional). It will be us and Uzbeks for direct qualification hopefully

We cant Complain about our luck. We are always so lucky when it comes to WCQ draws.
Funny, since so many here thinks AFC hates us and only exist to fukk with our lives. Well they are doing a bad job then

                          Schedule for TM:

                          September 10, 2024: UAE - Iran | (Away)
                          October 10, 2024: Uzbekistan - Iran | (Away)
                          October 15, 2024: Iran - Qatar | (Home)

                          November 19, 2024: Kyrgyzstan - Iran | (Away)
                          March 20, 2025: Iran - UAE | (Home)
                          March 25, 2025: Iran - Uzbekistan | (Home)
                          June 5, 2025: Qatar - Iran | (Away)
                          June 10, 2025: Iran - North Korea | (Home)

The October games will be the hardest.
The November games will be the most exhausting as we will have to probably fly to North Korea (or maybe China) and then fly to Kyrgyzstan.

The Qatar game in June will also be very hard as the heat at that time will be excruciating especially as its end of season.

My prediction is we will tie too many games and it will be a very annoying and drawing out qualification:

Qatar won’t be as strong this time round , Uzbeks aren’t clinical enough they always bottle it!

On paper, it's a decent group but with our recent football and GN, I'm not overly confident about breezing through like in the past.

dont put it past GN to F it up. The days of easy Asian WCQ (aka CQ days) are over.
