One question, how many goals does Thuram have this season and how many goals does MT99 have?

I love Mehdi, have been a big fan of him since his Rio ave stint.

But facts are facts and does not care about feelings.

It’s really not that deep. Not sure why people have to take such extreme stances. 2 things can be true at once. 1. Taremi is one of the greatest players Iran has ever had and 2. Taremi at Inter has failed and if we were not Iranian, we would not want to keep giving him chances either. Both of these statements can be true and idk why us fans are getting shamed for criticizing players we follow. As fans we have the right to come to a site like this and critique the guys that don’t know we exist but we follow their every move for years. I strongly disagree that we MUST ALWAYS glaze our players and MUST ONLY post positive things about them as if we are their parents. I think it is fair to celebrate when he has performances like the one against Milan AND criticize when he has performances like the other 90% of matches

TLDR: Taremi is one of the best things to happen to Iranian football AND he is not playing well at Inter

His poor finishing has not changed. What has changed is he was not afraid to take wild shots. He was always hungry.
Now he is constantly cautious. He needs to believe he is better than all of his teammates. Once he's an arrogant monster, he'll be better.
Very true. This is exactly what Klinsman said about him as well yesterday.

Damn, I have noticed that Lautaro takes every opportunity he gets with the ball to shoot and also, for some strange reason, he manages to get most of his shots on target. I guess thats why he manage to socre lot of goals. I wish Mehdi had guts to take some shots.

Damn, some of you guys were really raised with participation trophies. Sad.

Way too early to say he has failed.
He is the 3rd choice which is where we expected him to be.
If he becomes 1st or 2nd choice, then he has punched above his weight and is ahead of the best striker from the world's no. 1 and no.2 national teams.

Can't say he has failed yet cause he hasn't been benched permanently and is still in the rotation, but you could say that he's past his prime cause he hasn't been able to live up to expectations in the role they signed him for. Also, chances of him starting ahead of Thuram and Martinez are slim to none, unless one of them goes down with an injury.

He was never going to start ahead of them seriously, only rotate with them. Anyone who thought he would didn't watch Serie A before he came over. Thuram has 46 G/A in 50 matches, his worth is almost $120 million. Inter will keep playing him even if he scores 0 goals because they wanna sell him eventually at high price. Lauti is also a similar story but he is staying long term as captain. His real competition has always been Arna/Correa and he's ahead of them in performance right now.
