Although we all want him to score goals, the added defensive influence in the middle of the park is what Inzaghi appears to want from him.

against Juventus, he took him off, a gap opened up in the middle and Juve went on to win the game 1-0. I guess Inzaghi may have had that nightmare at the back of his mind and kept Taremi on to the end!

I hope taremi walks away from this season with at least 1 cup from Italy. however you cut it and dice it up, he is not producing as a striker. Unless something drastically changes he is done with Inter this season. I hope I am wrong.

Okay he is almost 33 so it’s difficult to improve as a player, but he still should be doing much better than this.

Normally we complain about the coach not playing our players, kudos to Inzaghi for giving so many (undeserved) playing time. I think it will be better if he stay on bench for a couple of games in a row. If he is injured, it will help him to rest a little and also avoid the shitstorm he is getting. maybe he will come back to his sense.

Maybe its not bad if he doesnt play 2-3 games and may come back fresher, i dont know if i am right but i see some problems in his positioning, when they attack he doesnt place himself well and fast enough at the right space, i have the feeling in attacks he should search the center .........

Inzaghi might be top 3 coach in Europe right now, he has given Taremi the opportunity of a lifetime and has treated him with incredible respect.

as I said in this thread weeks ago, it’s just unfortunately apparent that Taremi is simply not at this level. The disparity is apparent both visually when watching the likes of Thuram as well as by the numbers. Hopefully he has at least 1 moment that will give us some joy, sort of like the Super Copa goal. I’m afraid we won’t see a TM player at this level of competition for a long time, at least until after the regime is gone

despite Taremi’s failure at Inter so far, and despite that i wished he was 3-4 years younger joining a club such as Inter, i think it will take us another 20 years to see an Iranian in such a club!

I certainly wouldn’t claim that he has failed so far in terms of Positive overall contributions to the club..!
sure he has fallen short in terms of pure scorerer’s points & sure he was pants last game but even in Latter stages of that game he He played well enough in perseverance of the lead role and that so While still struggling with injury and Propped up Primarily pain painkillers..!

The way Napoli plays, always looking for that clever through-ball and forward pass from central midfield would have suited Taremi, his style, runs and flicks to a running striker-partner.

Shame Inter doesn’t play that and 9 out of 10 opt for a diagonal pass or wing-play.
