Thurman has been invisible. Unless he steps up in the next 10 minutes of the second half, I expect him to be subbed out for MT.

in fact Inter yet again choked and performed overall pretty poor in a big game vs a marquee opposition ..!!

Been silent but watching every single one of inter games.
The problem with this team, is every player is expected to score absolutely insane bangers from like 0.04 XG.
The crazy thing is, these players can do that, and I don't really think that's Taremi's game, almost ever. But yeah, not really a good fit in this team.Original Ehsan of IK ISP and PFDC from 1999/2000!

From the Inter games that I’ve watched, I can’t say I’ve been very impressed with their overall play. I expected more from a top club in Italy, but it seems like they get consistent results without playing aesthetically pleasing football.
They also have a good amount of selfish players. Not only would this team play better with more selfless play, but Taremi would fare better too.

Inter would fair so much better if they became half as unselfish as Mehdi when they get in or near opponent's box, and if they just make that one last extra well-weighted pass to a more open attacker..!!
that's also why they get sooo many close calls/chances and yet not near enough Goals/finishes for the number of decent chances..! as soon as they see the slightest of openings they just unleash attempt on goal instead making that final pass to a player who's positioned much better for a far higher degree of finishing chance..!!
also as Ehsan mentioned below even much of the services they provide the strikers are not anywhere near the appropriate weight, accuracy and touch quality required to result in a high percentage realistic Finish..!!
Now the big difference between Mehdi and Lauti/Marcus is that those two are far more capable of applying finishing touches to these often half-chances created for them while Mehdi simply is not (tbh, never been) all that clinical of a finisher..!!

ps
This is Just about that time I feared the wheels could fall off of the team Due to pure exhaustion and injuries mounting up because of the heavy scheduling and having a relatively shallow depth of Quality/young playing squad..!!? :/
in hindsight, they probably were better off losing their quarterfinal cup match against the Lazio ..!??
Because another contentious face off against their bitter City rival in the semifinal now waiting, and probably some injuries will be added to the squad after that match up for a stupid cup that doesn’t yield much of a financial reward nor even much glory associated with winning it…!
