Taremi will get decent playing time. Take Arnautovic last year: he started in 30% of Inters matches including 2 champions league games. Ended the season with 11 G/A including 2 champions league goals. And he is a level below Taremi as a player. I agree with not setting expectations high but I think we're in for a treat this year!

He need to prove himself all level above and below means nothing when season start

Hernan Crespo hails "top professional" Mehdi Taremi at Inter

Former Inter, Lazio, and Parma striker Crespo called Taremi “A good signing.”

“Taremi has international experience,” the Argentine continued.

“He’s come from a club where he’s gained a lot of knowledge and improved a lot in Porto.”

“He can make a major contribution to Inter,” Crespo predicted.

The former striker called Taremi “A striker who knows how to finish off a team move. But also to participate in buildup.”

“And he can also have his say with headers.”

As far as Taremi’s integration into the Inter squad, Crespo anticipated that “Good players are always welcome. And he’s a top professional.”

Taremi scores from a PK. His first inter goal and now 1 goal, 1 assist today. Wonder if drew the penalty himself in signature fashion

And he scores again! 2 goals, 1 assist. Obviously just a friendly against a weak side but can’t ask for a much better start to his Inter career
