An Iranian footballer playing for arguably a top 5 club in the world is starting ahead of a world Cup winner (and one of the world's most expensive forwards) against one of the world's best two clubs.
regardless, i am pleasantly surprised and totally was still expecting him to come off the bench regardless of all the usual promising noise of starting..!!
asking for a goal maybe too tall of an order today as they'll likely be on backfoot for vast majority of today's game ? but i fully expect him to have a good game with hopefully an assist or two off the break ...!!?
anyways i blew some $eriou$ do$h on his DHgate UCL jersey and badly need a proper excuse to wear the damn thing to our sunday soccer this weekend so he better not choke and have himself another one of those forgettable, largely anonymous performances today..!!

Again, very important for him to get off to a good start to give him confidence for the rest of the match. Fingers crossed.IRI = FAILED

i think he will be fine. he has had enough big games in his career to get his nervous in order.
in fact today's likely conditions ( mostly defending and occasionally countering) should play well into his strength..!! definitely far more than the last weekend game when he was facing a constant parked bus with scrubb 2nd teamers in his MF support..!!
