Anyone considered that maybe it is not on Mehdi that his TM performances are lacking, but it’s on the coach and role he is asked to play?
How come under coaches with clear systems such as Conceicao at Porto where he carried the team, Queiroz during pre-WC friendlies against Uruguay and Senegal and WC itself, and now under Inzaghi at Inter, he performs extremely well! But in GN’s tacticless TM, people here have said he looks old and slow. Maybe those coaches give him less of a chance to play in an arrogant way and confine him to his tactical role but GN gives him the freedom to do as he pleases. But it can’t be fully on him that his TM performances have disappointed.Comment

complete joke. what Qatar, UAE and Saudi are doing is just trying to buy their way to respect and prestige without earning it over time.
