The old inter Milan would score like 4to 5 goals against a team like Venezia,,

From the little I have seen of him up front with Thuram there seems to be a lack of connection between them.
I want to see him up front with Martinez, he nearly got his first goal but would have been disallowed for offside in the build up and if the defender didn’t save it with his hand.
He could have been in on goal but Thuram could not pass him the ball. Some nice defensive work etc, won some good fouls and held the ball up well up front to bring his team forward.
But as was said Inter shouldn’t be hanging on for a draw at home against Venezia. I want to see him on the pitch with the full strength side when they are going for it.Comment

Thr way inter is right now, the set position are their goalkeeper and back 3 and the front 2 are all set in stone , that 6 position , then that leaves us with 5 positions that are up for debate…

That leaves us with 2 odd ball position that are Zellenski and mikhtaryan both in my opinion are below Mehdi in ever category, expect zelinski seems to be a better finisher and shooter , so it leaves Mikhtaryan who in my opinion, is the weakest link in the middle ,
Mehdi should be playing that position, but idk if there some kinda symbiotic relationship or balance that the starting 11 have that he is terrified to change , but that where Mehdi should be if he wants get the best out of him ,Comment

Thuram is a good target man, but not a good playmaker.
Taremi is a good playmaker but not a good target man.
This binary observation probably makes Inzaghi think they’d be a good match, but as many have noted Taremi does better when his partner can combine well.
there was a moment where inter had a counter and thuram’s pass was so late and behind that five Venezia players were able to get back in time.
