Its not a 1 man show. He can't do it all by himself. After Azmoun and Taremi, then Ezatollahi a few miles behind, the rest of our team is a bunch of players like Kanaani/Shoja/Milad/Hardani who aren't even on the level of Greek league. We're only recently starting to see more consistent contributors in TM with Mohebi/Ghaedi but even then half the team can barely mark a person! Same as how Son and Salah can't carry their national teams alone, Taremi can't either. You need 11 players and a decent coach before you can even look to blame individual players.

Taremi's CL performances and stats, considering how late he got started are nothing short of remarkable.
His stats and career are very underrated and we will only recall how damn good he was 10 years from now.

We wouldn't' have qualified for 2018 and 2022 without Taremi. He had game winners in several tight matches.
World Cup 2018 - yeah he missed that chance at the end, but it never should have come to that. Taremi was our engine in every World Cup game. He was exhausted in the 3rd game in each tournament because CQ's system means Taremi is exhuasted and we have no one else who has his skillset.

If CQ hadn't gone mega defensive in the 3rd game for both editions, things would be different.

I noticed the same thing when I was watching. Compare to azmoun who was more interested in taking selfie with dybala than playing football. Dybala aslan munde bud ke in hamteamie mane ya tarafdare? He don’t even get fans asking for so many photo.

I was not comparing national teams , why even go there , I was just comparing mentalities of the individual players , you need to realize I never said they way Taremi plays for Iran , which he has always disappointed us in big games so yea , but in Inter he just is struggling ;

^ I think Mehdi is overwhelmed and stressed out to perform. Too many good players around him so he has become shy to play his usual game. And of course the age factor and his complacency with high income are also affecting him.

Lets just give him some time to bounce back and remember not every transfer suits every player. He has done enough in his career but perhaps inter was a little too much for him. maybe a lesser profile team would have been a better choice for him who knows?
