As much as I wanted him to succeed, I appreciate the competitiveness of high level football too much to sit and make excuses for him. Just like all the other pros I’ve watched in my life. I was listening to a clip from an Italian football podcast and there was Iranian journalist or someone making excuses even saying he was injured this season… when was he injured this season?

unfortunately most his teammates just don’t look to get him passes & involve him much in their counters/offense ..!
it’s seemingly been a recurring theme since preseason to me .!:/
On few occasions they do he give him a lousy pass he actually plays the most brilliant one touch flick-on’s into attacking partners path than all others in their offensive & midfield cast ..!

so he’s mostly forced to turn his focus, mostly on defensive, pressing and closing passing lanes for the opponents which he does brilliantly game after game..!
It was exactly the opposite theme at Porto , Hence ensuing production rate and the consistent confidence attacking approach that came with it..!
of course, the biggest difference was The all out high-press & ultra offensive approach ofSC& The weaker defenses , he faced in Liga NoS

I still don’t foresee inter wanting to get rid of him after first season unless they get a good $$ offer for him. They got a few other more expensive to keep dead weights they need to offload first before it gets to Mehdi..!

I don't know guys, based on how he has appeared to be in TM (his actions, interviews, facial expressions, reactions to players, effort level) to me it seems like all of this is because of an attitude thing. It started under Skocic, and he has seemed to have a really bad attitude from the last season in Porto, and at his worst now in Inter. Not sure if it will ever work out for him there, it seems like he made the big club move too late in his career. Hope he proves me wrong, there is no doubt in his ability and fitness, this all seems to come from within. These are all assumptions I am obviously making, but my assumptions that a lot of us shared about Azmoun were correct, so it would be surprising that we misinterpreting this.

Oh my God we are so dramatic....his stats aren't even that much worse than Martinez....

1 goal 3 assists versus 6 goals 4 assists. Yeah okay 5 goals big deal. Martinez only gets to start EVERY league game while Mehdi has to start against teams like Manchester City and Leverkusen in UCL.

JUST WAIT. He's gonna get more goals second half with Inter in knockouts of UCL, they will need Taremi playing in the league more.

God forbid one of our players gets in a 3 month slump, we always love to downplay their accomplishments and shit on them in every way.

If you thought he was going to come to inter and take the place of Martinez/Thuram I got a bridge to sell to you.
