100% pass completion but Unusually off-target when it came to finishing on 3/4 occasions. Then .again Inter seems to still carry the scar from the SuperCup loss to Milan. The whole team seem jaded.

Damn. I didn't watch the match but from the play by play reports and comments here, looks like he didn't have a good game... Not When it comes to finishing at least.
Hopefully he doesn't start to get displaced as the first choice backup striker. At least keep this decent Spot on a top team like Inter.Comment

I I watched the whole game. He was solid, 100% pass accuracy, today he reminded me of his prime time in Porto where he went back to midfield to face and get the ball and build-up. It is so obviouse that he is starting to get his confidence back and that is especially after the cup final. He challenges, dribbles and takes shots (There he really needs to get better).

Decent game I guess, and he's gaining some confidence but still too timid and SOFT.
Needs to work on his body language and get rid of the dumb grimace on his face every time he misses a chance. That sh*t would drive me crazy as a coach. It's not a good look and only represents a lack of mental toughness and stability to the opponents and his teammates.
That kind of behavior could be justified every now and then and maybe in a match where stakes are high then it's ok to display some emotion but not on the regular and as much as he does. Nobody cares about how upset you are with yourself, doesn't make the misses any better. Just move on and do better.Comment

he put in an overall decent shift last run out, his passing and movements on n off the box was brilliant but his overall performance still severely lacked sharpness in and around the box and enough attacking drive and scoring intent..!
first thought it was and it really shoulda been him pouncing on that lose ball for the goal..! that was certainly his place to be as a striking partner not the fkn rwb darmian..!!
he really needs to work harder in training on his shooting technique ...honestly its embarrassingly bad for a striker @this level of the game..! the good thing about it though was the fact that he at least was trying to hit the shot First Time.... he just got to position his body better behind the ball (not under his feet..!) b4 the attempts..!!

fratessi vastly overrated and terrible in build up play although he has a good knack for scoring he just doesn’t fit inzaghi system of play..! he wants to be traded & might well be offloaded either this winter or summer anyways.

tough game tomorrow, considering he was subbed off somewhat early last game, I think Mehdi will get a decent minutes even if not start ..!?
