That quote says everything except for: "I'm happy with his performance". Inzaghi is basically, in the most polite way, saying Taremi f'ed up two great chances and got nervous in front of the goal but it's ok, he shouldn't hang his head low and try to do better/improve in the future (This is regarding the game against Bologna), he does say that he did well against
Milan in the supercoppa final.This is what you're supposed do as a coach/leader - boost your player's confidence and have his back no matter what, there's no sense in bashing him in media and ruining his confidence even more.

Yep it's great that he's made it to a top team and he's been in the rotation and has had some decent showings here and there. As a fellow Irooni you gotta show support and love, I for one ordered his $200 jersey from Milan and waited over a month for it to arrive... but at the same time gotta call a spade a spade...can't let the mere fact that he's Persian make you biased, overall he's been subpar so far at Inter, can't sugarcoat that.

Needs a big game today, preferably with a goal but as long as he creates chances for his team mates like he has all season he will stay on inzaghi’s good side. Inter usually score 2-3 on these guys in their most recent matches so statistically speaking Taremi is in an ideal spot to get his first Serie A goal today.

yep, his finishing has been/was dreadful,( especially the last game when he was actually finally afforded great scoring chances) but similar to inza i also thought that his performance was pretty damn good nonetheless, especially as a somewhat late sub after they had already conceded the equalizer and most other key starters were yanked out too..!!
i smell a goal and assist for him today ..!!
or more likely 1-2 assists ..!! 💪
as im still not convinced he can all the sudden massively improve his shooting and finishing touches ..!?? -



he defo needs to stop being overly conservative and shy in the offensive 3rd of the pitch and like to see him show more confidence /calm and composure in front of goal..! FFS at least hold the fkn ball up and muscle his way to the goal better, win a PK or something .... he used to be an expert at that and havent seen much if any?? yet of those silky smooth pk-merchant antics from him since his move to Inter..!!
