He had quite a few decent chances to get an assist/goal today but looked pretty stiff. We can't really make excuses for him. Season is still coming to an end and his only goal from open play is in the supercup, not even Serie A. IMO its clear he is done at Inter or at the very least he will be 4th choice next year after they buy another striker and offload Arna and Correa. Unless he scores like 2 hat tricks or something between now and later.

I dont remember any Iranian player in top club get as many as minutes and fail to have any impact!
even karimi in his first season at Bayern got probably less min than him!

Even Azmoun had more goals from open play with Roma in less minutes...safe to say his season is not going well lol

^ as his psychologist I prescribe him to take two shots of optimism and ambition and he will be good in a month. 😇😅🤣😂

In retrospect, I think moving forward our players need to prioritize clubs that will give them 90 minutes playing time and confidence (dare I say like Azmoun). Taremi was a god-level LEGEND at Porto, a very respectable 4.5 star team on FIFA. There’s no need for our players to move to Tier 1 teams just so us fans can brag about having a player at Inter. I wish Taremi would stay at Porto or move to a 4.5 star team like idk Atalanta or Lazio. This is not doing anyone any favours

I would rather have our superstars playing in Dutch league or Portuguese league regularly than have them play in Spain or Prem just to say we have someone there

Running out of excuses for him, its been an awful season for him...

ey baba who needs fans with overzealous, self-hating critics like us..!!?

i thought he played well enough today..!

helped provide the all important offensive spark after the uninspiring, totally lifeless and dud 1st half Inter offensive performance..!!
as usual hustled a plenty off the ball and contributed massively in defensive, countering and intangibles dept..!
had a couple of pretty damn decent efforts on goal which were saved brilliantly/luckily? by geneoa keeper ..!
helped much in his team securing all important 3 points..!!
most importantly, his coach seemed very pleased with his work today after the game gave him a hug and pat on the back ..!!

be gholeh agha Essi .... Taa Koor shavad , har ke natavaanad did..!!

I love Mehdi. The guy was comfortable and a legend at Porto, but he decided to challenge himself and go to a top team in a top league. Not every move always works out, but he wasn’t afraid to take the risk. Good for him. I think more of our younger players need to take a leap of faith, instead of going the safe route. No guarantees that it will work out, but I am all about people going outside of their comfort zone and challenging themselves to be the best.

No matter what the future holds, I will always respect him for this move. Same with JB.
