Come on, we have to be realistic. We all want him to succeed and were thrilled about his success in Porto but to say that he played well today is just objectively wrong. He just ran around and the few times he got the ball in 45 minutes he either missed his chance, didnt connect with the ball, played the ball back or screwed up a build up play. We have to have more expectations than to say he did well when he just ran on the pitch. 1 open play goal in the season is just awful stats and we have to accept it without excuses.

I think too many here only Judge and value his contribution only based on pure G&As..!!
or expect regular miraculous finishing from him from near impossible angles/situations & that to from paltry decent service provided to him..!

In the last game, Mehdi was afforded with only one ☝️ proper service and he brilliantly dispatched the venomous shot towards the goal from a very tight angle with little room to squeeze between the stick and a keeper and naturally it hit the keeper and bounced back..! The rest was just other players attempts on goal that spilled near him and or other deflected balls..! He almost busted his head, trying to connect with one such ball Falling awkwardly near him..!
Clearly he’s also not the one who is targeted almost ever from the corner kicks and other set pieces either..! So where are all these fucking services that you guys expect him to To latch on to and-score from..!?
at least for the entire time that he is on the pitch, he’s not totally invisible, can’t be arsed Lollygagging aboutand useless like carrea ..!
He is nearly always in tune with the Scheme of play always playing his complementary role to other attacking partners and when outa possession he is the first to get back and press from the top and take away Dangerous passing lanes from opposing teams As he retrieving back and neutralize any legitimate threat from center top of their box when in defensive role ..!

You think it’s only the goals and assists & goal scorers that win the game for you ..!? And everybody else is there just to make up the numbers and their contribution is minuscule & unimportant to the Main objective of the game, which is winning..!?

I think to more fairly judge Mehdi’s performances & contributions to inter It’s the think of him more as an attacking mid than a striker..!
Honestly, I can only recall one or two games before he injured himself where he was actually provided with a decent bit of service in front of goal which he failed to convert on before that and ever since he’s just there to compliment the main striker and help the team in their defensive and counter attacking Duties& he has been doing a damn fine job of that..!

If he had the assists (which he did at the beginning), you guys would complain about goals. If he had the goals, you'd bitch about assists. You want your khoda and your khorma. We all want this, but some of us are also happy that he's even on this team and has a legitimate shot at the title and maybe Champions League. Is that so wrong? Let's just enjoy the ride and see where it goes, he has enough Italian "fans" shitting on him, does he need that from his own people too?
And don't get me wrong, I can care less about him and his personality, acumen, and religious beliefs. I don't need that from athletes that are just playing a game for a living.
