I don't expect anything from him there. Just hope his colleagues will do the job to bring him the serie A title, the coppa and the UCL (if PSG doesn't reach the final)

i hate to be overly critical of him but FFS from a yard out, open net...!! instead of pussy tappin he's gotta BLAST that fkn ball into the net and leave No FKN chance for a defender to block out his effort..!!

that goes in and a good chance that VAR gets involved in the stupid whistle for the foul on the keeper and the goal would stand..??

Either I imagined it or coach was going to stroke out yelling at him.

I think Taremi is done here

more so than anything in his game, im really getting really sick n tired of watching him repeatedly getting Physically dominated and beat by a buncha feisty but midget players half his size and frame..!

FFS man, Glory and Titles & the reward for the entire season's worth of team's hustle is on the lines here in the next 5-10 matches, you gotta step da fk up and Get STUCK-IN and quit your bs diving for whistle every time and almost anywhere you get possession of ball..!😠 this aint fkn UAE/Qatar league action, to get a whistle for anytime someone shoulder challenged you...!! forget about even comparing to liga Nos..!!😡

besides the injury excuse there is little left to justify his lackluster performances down the stretch anymore..!!

Don’t want to sound like a Taremi apologist, but I remember earlier in the season he did play with more passion & vigor.

Either it’s niggling injuries, or he’s mentally checking out a bit.

Overall, I haven’t been impressed with inter’s playing style. I was expecting a more fluid offensive attack that Taremi could benefit from. The team has too many individualistic players that doesn’t allow him to shine.

Hopefully he goes to another Serie A club after the season.

I don't know man, I feel like he just doesn't fit this system. I would like for him to move to another team where he has less demand from striker role. It just feels like he's out of his league, especially with his injury. He has shown moments of brilliance but what makes or breaks a player is being able to do that consistently week in and week out! I don't think he can hang at this level consistently sadly! Inzaghi's system requires 3 things from strikers:

                1. One striker runs back to support build up play. Taremi excels at this, I'll give him this one.

                2. You need speed for counterattacks. He's so much slower the last 1-2 years! If he runs back to help midfield half the time he doesn't have the speed to run back in time to do anything else!

                3. You have Thuram and Lautaro making selfish single runs and blasting it in. Taremi is the opposite, he's not selfish. He is the type to take the ball to the box and pass it out of anxiety

On point number 2, it's not just his speed, his reaction time is much slower than other players on the pitch. It's like watching a CB play striker.

He was never a quick player and got away with "his awkward movements", but this season he's basically at 0.75x playback.

Exactly, bro almost hesitated to go for it, and when he did go for it it was slow motion and weak,

Not the result or performance we wanted to see, but our boy got 20 minutes of playing time.

Taremi should just go to a 4.5 star team like Porto or Lyon or Feyenoord or some other good European team in farmer league (middle to bottom teams suck). It is hard for us to admit but we simply do not have players right now who can hang with the big boys. It’s nice on paper to have a player at inter but it will be better for all of us for him to go to a less demanding league and flourish in a respectable yet not world class club. Same goes for all of our players. I would hate for Azmoun to go to like Tottenham for example just for names sake

Any groin injury is excruciating, and very limiting.
It’s an excuse but it’s true.

as for rejuvenation of team, that means nothing when they have very little chance creation all season, and have a injury issue that can only be handled by having even more squad rotation (and therefore players) to manage their schedule.

What I’m saying is it will be more additive next season. Maybe more players don’t make the squad list but they need more options period.

Yep Exactly! Gotta aim for the roof there...poor awareness too as he should've felt the defender coming up for that block. He went about it like he had an open net with nobody else around, Mehh unfortunately it's been a season full of those shortcomings for MT

I think he was better earlier in the season, but I don’t think he’s out of his league. The overall team’s tactics don’t mesh well with his strengths.

A lot of their goals this season come from moments of individual brilliance, rather than selfless offensive build up. Taremi plays much more assertively on team melli because he’s allowed to take more risks as our star player.

There have many, many instances this season where Taremi’s positioning was good for service but his teammates either ignore him or take a shot themselves.

I thought his overall lack of service this season would be corrected by Inzaghi, but it hasn’t. It has persisted all season. Also, I don’t know if the coach has told Taremi point blank to more selfish, take more shots and risks, etc.

I think back to Jahanbakhsh who took more shots on goal under Skocic than any other coach.

Either way, he definitely hasn’t been as sharp these past couple of games, either due to injury, lack of confidence, or he just doesn’t care to try as hard anymore.

Ivan Zazaroni, a famous Italian reporter on Taremi: He has had bad performance so far and he thinks that it has to do with his mindset, seeing himself as a substitute, meaning automatically that he's not good as other starters and that affect his performance because he's not used to be substitute. He's always been starter in his previous clubs. And I think he has a valid point.
