I guess the blue print to beating Perspolis is arial through passes over our defenders. Reminds me of Esteghlal when they played with 4 in the back with Silva as one of the CBs.

Also funny to see Alipour shushing the Kheybar fans after getting a goal from an XG of 8 million.

Really difficult to find anything good about that match beside Rafei being good and the fact that Bagheri was smart enough to sub Salmani out.

It is not just Persepolis it is also the blueprint to beat Team Melli.

Both teams share wingbacks who are not positionally disciplined and share the same CBs who are slow as molasses.

The only difference is that TM defensive setup is worse because Ezatolahi is a turtle too in defensive transition. At least Persepolis midfielders have a sprinkle of pace

Its why we need to switch to 3 men midfield instead of 4-4-2 in TM. Our wingers are productive enough that we can afford to bench a striker and have someone playing deeper next to Eza, and some CAM like Hosseinejad. Its no wonder that our defense got fixed for a short while after starting Ghoddos as CDM as well lol.
