Any coach other than Yahya would need time to figure out the team, how Iran works...
As you're aware we have an extremely difficult February. With the way things are we don't have a great chance as we can't get any new players.
If Sir Karim can get good results in the PGPL and ACL games then I think he will have done enough to be considered head coach permanently.
If he fails, that's ok. At that point we should rebuild entirely in the summer.

I'm going to try and do a summary of what's happening week by week in the league in this thread. Most is what I've just read in papers, or learned from the football 360 podcast.
- Persepolis is about to sign a French manager. I don't believe it but that's the rumor.
- Esteghlal cancelled training for 8 days. Fans are upset as Mosimane kept saying they have coniditoning issues, and this would have been the time to fix it.
- Most teams will have winter training in Kish Island. Foolad and Malavan will go to Dubai.
- IRIB Khuzestan finally upgraded broadcasting in Ahvaz. The games in Avhaz don't make you sick anymore. Just compare production of last year's Malavan-Foolad game, compared to the one from last week
- Azadi stadium's west wing is complete. However work needs to continue on the south, north, and east wings, and finally the pitch. I will make a separate post about that as I find it interesting.
- I don't know where Kheybar Khorramabad gets it's money from, but they're doing some nice work with their stadium they're building called "Lor Arena".
- Best young players of this season so far: Reza Ghandipour (Malavan), Bahram Goudarzi (Gol Gohar), Mohammad Khalifeh (Aluminium Arak), Mehdi Zare (Gol Gohar).
- Khuzestan continues to discriminate against women in stadiums. In addition to behind the scenes government baboons, there are tribes there that don't want to allow women into stadiums.
- Sepahan's Limouchi is picking up form. He along with Hashemnejad and Hosseinzadeh are all players who have been great this season, and are in the 24-25 age range, so I don't consider them "young".
- Winter transfer season will be busy.
- Teraktor is mid-season champion.
- Havadar FC has been the worst team by far,

I will add to this and say, Razzaghinia has also been an excellent player for Gol Gohar. Tall, technical CDM. Many people don't realize this but he has been consistently starting for Gol Gohar and playing full 90 outside of U20 camp since end October. He played full 90 against SS and Sepahan recently, doing a great job defending That's massive news for an 18 year old CDM. He also won "young player of the month" which is something strange PGPL has started doing recently lol.

I hate these stupid artificial teams like Havadar so much….truly pointless and always these teams are made up of mid to old age subpar PGPL players that battle relegation for a few years before they finally go down. All to take away mins and opportunities from young guys….at least if these no name/made up teams had something beneficial I wouldn’t hate on them but they literally never do. Hope Havadar continue to struggle and get relegated and replaced with a real team with a real fan base like Sanat NaftTeam Meli Iran
Perspolis FC
Malavan Bandar Anzali

Incoming late night boredom rant from watching PGPL because of insomnia:
Someone tell me if I'm getting ahead of myself but can someone convince me why Mehdi Zare should not start for Team Melli? I feel like nobody who is watching Gol Gohar matches is paying attention to how good he actually is? This kid is not only slightly taller than Moghanlou, but he is also twice as muscular. I am not kidding please go watch Gol Gohar matches to see him in action. In fact watch him play versus Esteghlal the other day. Like where the hell did this kid come from randomly? Another Hosseinejad who just popped out of academy from nowhere (Esteghlal academy this time).
1. He is built like Andre the Giant at age of 21. Like a literal silverback gorilla, he is scarily huge. He is bigger than everyone on the pitch 99% of the time.
2. The kid has smart positioning and because of this, Gol Gohar has only conceded 6 goals this whole half season.
3. For his size, he is faster than Majid Hosseini.
4. He has tremendous hustle, trying his best to beat everyone to the ball no matter where he is.
5. He was U19 Captain for SS, so it shows somewhat maturity.
In fact watch his highlights vs Esteghlal here just last week, I will timestamp it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjFOu5Vnq-w
0:49 - blocks goal.
0:51 - he uses his huge body to block a free kick.
1:53 - he clears the ball from goal.
2:06 - he cancels Esteghlal's attack through prediction and a slide tackle.
3:17 - he realizes Blanco is offside so he keeps smart positioning even after he was beat to the ball to cancel the goal.
4:04 - he is constantly scouting the shape of the field, checking to see who is unmarked and commanding the backline to mark him.
6:38 - he marks 3 players at the same time and clears the ball with his head with his giant stack of a frame ().
And this is just against Esteghlal, I've been seeing him show quality for so many games now as someone who occasionally follows Gol Gohar and Sepahan. This guy puts Shoja and Kanaani to shame, I don't wanna be gaslighted into thinking he is not good enough. He needs to start.

Even if he is good enough now, its difficult Because he plays in a small club. Iranian fans are Champions of hashieh. Imagine the rage of Esteghlal and Persepolis fans, if he plays instead of one of their players.

overall the physique of all persian players have changed. They have learned U ARE WHAT U EAT AND ALSO TYPE EXCERSIS THEY DO HAVE CHANGED TO.
in pp and ss playing a 21yold as cb will almost never happen.
sepahan or tt is better for young players.
hopefully he start after 2027 ac , with general in tm he will never start a tournament match.
Having him and hezbavi to take over after 27ac is exciting.
