Think we are good in the midfield and striker positions


Defensive and goalkeeper it’s really hard to be optimistic

I think Beiranvand and Kanaani are serviceable (even tho both left their primes behind a long time ago).

Defensively our problems can be summed up as: Shoja sucks, Milad too scared of the ball, Ezatollahi too slow, and defensive shape off-possession looks like macaroni tadig.

I think rewatching our international games always gives me a sense of the tactics GN and staff try to go for. The tactic right now is literally: Ezatollahi & Ghoddos cross the ball forward, while fullbacks press. If we get lucky, our wingers get the ball and press. If not, then we lose possession everyone is too far forward to do anything against a counterattack, leading Shoja and Beiranvand to YOLO defend. Combined with Milad and Kanaani being geej its not a good outlook.

Don't worry hajsafi will be back at sepahan next year and with current beef between biravand and mohamadi haj sooti will be invited and will break the all time cap record. Only problem is medi has beef with hajsafi over capitan armband that needs to be solved . So consider hs part of 25 man roster for the wc.
