Its not offside.


Read Rule 11 of the game regarding Offsides.

If an intentional movement of the opposing team is done offside is reset.

The offside player at the time also didnt affect the play.

Long story short if Hosseini was not an idiot and let the ball go it would be offside but he tried to catch it, fumbled it, gave it away and Rezaian is too slow to avoid giving away penalties.

I’ve wondered the same thing for years his best attributes are all offensive and pace, his defending is his worst feature. He was always too far forward the one time he was too far back he kept Qatar onside…

Maybe his real position should be a right striker so I am not sure why he plays as a winger.

his finishing and pace are great - but yeah I agree with the notion here he lacks positional awareness

even now in ACL he's banging in goals - he should be playing as an impact winger for TM with 20-30 mins to go against tired opposition I think he can be effective as we saw against Wales and Uzbekistan

Hazbavi is another one who can't defend but who's finishing is pretty good and is always in amongst the goals to some capacity

Hazbavi is great on set pieces. I hope he can keep developing and increase his awareness/technique. What he needs right now is a move to Europe or Russia

I don't think Jose Morais got what it takes to lead this Sepahan team to victory. I mean the star quality is there in the team but....I don't know if I can call them a team. Its like TM, you feel like instead a team out there, its everyone for themselves. Eleven players just doing their own thing.

Its night and day if you compare Garrido's Perspolis to Sepahan for example. The last few match days you can see everyone full of passion and teamwork, and momentum is shifting to their side
