I don't understand the harsh criticism for Ghoddos. Everyone is acting like Ghoddos was doing big things for TM even we played for better clubs. Maybe this time he'll actually get playing time and stay fit and can provide for TM

No one stays fit in Dubai. It yields even lazier players than Qatar.
At least in Iran there is a fitness coach who swears at you left and right if you don't go up the hill.

Our poor little Saman tried hard to settle in Europe but was shoved out. You could say yeah, it is all his fault by not decreasing his wage demands but the guy was playing in the best league, doing well at every opportunity he got and winning some plaudits..he was entitled to some good wages. Maybe his agent told him to hold out? Maybe he realized he had cast the net too narrow and not marketed in smaller euro leagues enough? Maybe his partner pushed him not to move to little towns away from London?

Anyways I'm fairly sure that had he known his destination was Al Kalbas at the beginning of the summer, he might have been a lot more flexible.

We already know from his prior shenanigans that he doesn't get the best advice and doesn't have the best intuition.

it takes a lot of courage and strength to step out of your comfort zone and play in a new league (kabob league) for new challenges (who can be the most materialistic). Personally, I empathize with him, after all, he is only a multi millionaire who gets paid to play soccer, not a billionaire. He needs all the income he can get to support the many people in his life (wife and dog) Some of you guys are so inconsiderate and never see the viewpoint of the player. Due to his age, it makes complete sense to play in UAE league, anyone who disagrees is a certified hater. This can clearly be a step towards bigger things such as playing for Real Madrid or Man city…in fifa career mode

Ok people stop hating on Saman. He is a professional soccer player, which means it is his job to make money playing soccer. Anyone of you would do the same if someone offered you a bunch of money. He had a few good years in England, and played well for TM most of the time. It's time for him to think of his future and fill his bank account.

Hats off to him and congratulations to him for wanting to prioritize money. I don't think anyone actually is mad at him for wanting to make money at 31. We're all mad because Hosseinejad and Hosseinzadeh are probably gonna get skipped over for him in their primes while being hungry....for a guy who is semi-retired at the top level. The level of football in UAE is comparable to Serie C in Italy, probably worse.


Same goes Alireza.

The fact that Allahyar is putting in shift after shift in Belgium and isn't starting over Alireza, that's a problem. The fact that Hosseinzadeh is on fire for Tractor and won't get any minutes over Ghoddos is a problem. The fact that Saharkhizan and Ghandipour won't get any minutes despite being on fire...that's the problem.

And nobody is allowed to make the argument "they aren't ready or they don't have any experience" or whatever because again....we don't even let them play multiple matches to make a proper judgment on them in TM.

I like to see mehri 10lb lighter...talent is sure there. He can play defense and create in front too.
