I don't believe any of this. There must be a logical reason for the drop... injury etc. They just paid good money for him and they played him in a vital game off the bat and he scored in 90 seconds. This thread is really toxic and people are going way overboard. It is August people. Wait till January before passing judgement... instead of dumping on him before the season has even begun!

It’s not always about who’s better though. It’s the the mentality, fitness, work-ethic, ambition, etc.

With this move, Sardar is basically throwing in the towel with his footballing aspirations. That’s his choice, and I’m thankful for all of his efforts for team melli but it’s time to move on. He can come off the bench.

Mohebbi is a good example of a player who inspite of his inconsistent performances, we all saw there was a good player in there. With all the chances afforded by GN he delivered in a big way none of us expected against Japan.

I’m sure we can find more players like that.

If football isn't his priority and he decide to leave high level football for horse and dolce vita, he has no place in TM whatever he has done before. He has scored a lot before but don't consider him as ronaldo either. 0 goal in WC, 0 goal against SK or Japan lately.

About his replacement, actually it will be better as we will finally leave this 2 striker system and reinforce our midfield.

About an alternative striker, it will kick our lazy ass that rely on our stars until they are 50 and force us to search and develop new players
