there are definitely parts of this league which seem even weaker than the IPL at teams- the players play at a slow pace and seem to have no motivation or desire and of course its full of foreigners who don't seem to care much or local emryati talent which is below the baseline average IPL talent its a sorry state of a league really.

Of course Al-Ain look like a legit team who were very good in the asian champions league last year they crushed the J league team in the final

Right now he's fresh and coming off of training for years with decent clubs.
2 months in UAE and you will see he will get fatter, slower, and overall less prepared.

Also this is Asian football.
Japanese clubs should rout everyone, but even last season an Emirate club won ACL despite mostly being garbage.
