I just saw a stat that Allahyar leads the league in duels won. I think a lot of guys here have written him off a bit too early. Might never become a star like many of us hoped for after the U17 WC, but I think this guy is going to be ok. Hope we can get a new coach and integrate him into TM.

Players from outside are "Khareji" and more often than not have higher standards for how they will be treated and expect.
Iranian Mafia is khodemooni and they can do what they please. Players decide who gets called up. No pressure on anyones positions.
There is a very clear political divide on which people support which mentality by the way

One example is how Saeed Ezatollahi's dad is literally on the board of IFF and had a role in Skocic's sacking. Not to say he doesn't deserve a call up (right now he's one of our better players), but even if Eza moves to the Indian league and scores 3 own goals a game, he will still be a starter for TM until he retires. Its just how mafia politics work.
Same reason Hosseini and Aghasi are banned from TM essentially because of speaking out/doing things IFF doesn't like
