Yes, the league sucks, but saying all his goals were against UAE clubs and weak asian national teams doesn't bare weight considering

1) He scored our only goal against Hong Kong
2) He scored our only goal against Turkmenistan
3) He scored our only goal against UAE

He's also scored on Bosnia

Al ain is dead last of this year ACL. Better that PGL don't make it good.

He himself choose to burry himself in an average club of a crappy league, he can't complain to face such opposition when he turned down Europe (AEK, Celtic). Even if these europe rumors were false, he could have stay at Esteghlal or any ACL participant of iran uae or qatar and face al ahli al nassr and al hilal. we would have seen his real level then

Problem is there’s no real metric to measure the success of our players in this league because the standard is so poor. I mean at times the defending is worse than ipl - it’s a retirement league half full of semi pro emiratis deemed inadequate for the uae national football team . When an Iranian scores in this league it doesn’t even feel like much of an accomplishment.

does Ghaedi even want to leave? Iam not sure he’s ever said he wants to play for Europe and seems to be comfortable in the uae .

It's a retirement league, so there is no "success" really. If you watch half their goals they're doing things we did on pitch in middle school. If anything this says way worse about us seeing how UAE clubs were much more successful this year in ACL than us

Al ain humiliated a j league team in the final last time round they also beat the Saudi clubs too .

I guess Asian leagues in general really aren’t that strong - I went to a j league match a month ago wasn’t really impressed with the standard a lot of sooti errors there too
