If does get sacked, I'm against splashing big on a foreign coach. All we need is a semi-competent coach who knows modern football. Look at South Korea with Klinsmann or Saudi with Mancini. These big names have no hunger. they just want to collect a check.

I'd take someone like Morais for a discount instead breaking the bank for Rocco Sifrredi. Morais already knows our football, and the bullshit that comes with it. He also plays sexy football.

The only realistic option who would be worth big bucks (Carlos Carvahal) is no longer available.

We have a big problem with our domestic coaches much more than a problem with our players :
      • Non competent enough in their tactic, player choice, fake authority, outclassed by their foreign counterparts.
      • Coward and refusal to play/develop the youngster for fake good players => That's why our pool of player is so weak
      • Of course, no exports in foreign decent leagues to bring some of our players like dutch do. even crappy charleroi or Osasuna (Neku) are out of reach.
      • Abolutely 0 link abroad so we can't have some decent friendlies with other NT or okay leagues clubs.
      • No decision to expel players that favor UAE/Qatar/IPL to Europe (except force majeure situations). If coach and IFF put a ban on such player earlier (they did it successully before), we won't have most of our players in UAE league in a very bad shape.

Our current situation left stuck between crappy domestic coaches and few foreign option available. If our league and our volleyball NT can get good foreign option, we should jump on it too for TM

The good news is that the pressure is building against GN. I don't think he can survive another few of games like this.

I don't understand the obsession with the guy. He has been underwhelming since 2015. He has the occasional good match ( Vs Portugal in 2018 and Argentina in 2023, but outside that pretty average.

The funny thing with GN is that he talked a big game for 15 years after his last stint, constantly a menace behind the background with his mafia and this is all he has to show for finally getting the job??!

It's the classic story of the guy finally reaching his goal and not knowing what to do afterwards.

When CQ was the head coach, all these coaches and pundits had a tongue longer than a donkey's d--k. now, all of them are quiet. why? Because CQ put them out of business for a good 8 years. They did not have a noon khori any more

                      Disagree.
The Azizi crew are very anti GN now.
Only reason Azizi has been quiet about the game is because his father just passed (RIP).

The project he did with Saudi Arabia and Morocco was great. He is one of the main reasons both countries are into inviting their diaspora. He is one the type of coaches that progresses your football as a whole. Links with diaspora, encouraging going abroad, plenty connections to get decent friendlies, and a whole host of international experience to back it up. Thats who we need as a coach. We are plenty talented otherwise, just need someone to have a vision and a project to put it all together.

What you didn't see from Renard is that before him, both Morocco and Saudi were in the gutter. Like legitimately falling apart. His influence and nurturing is what led Saudi to have it's dominant AFC run from 2016-2022, ultimately beating Argentina and also Morocco's deep run in the WC is from the foundations he set.

Regarding Morais, as a Sepahan fan I don't EVER want him in TM. like EVERRR lol. He gives youth play time but otherwise his team shape and tactics are the same level as Ghalenoei/Skocic, maybe even worse. If you thought Reza Asadi was bad in TM under GN, just wait till Morais becomes head coach.

Both Saudi and Morocco's success has to do with of Infrastructure spending and planning going back a decade. Sure Renard was a part of that, but honestly any mid-tier journey man could have done the same job. Morocco started a project a decade ago which lead to them being what they are now.

I also don't see the obsession with diaspora players. We have plenty of talent born, raised and living in Iran. It's not like we have Dejagah level player out there who isn't part of the current setup. From Kaveh, to Dennis, we have as good if not better options.

I'm not a Sepahan fan, but have watched a lot of their matches, and I don't agree with your assessment. Defensively his teams might have issues with shape (that's expected when your squad is constantly changing because of external factors), but offensively fluidity and transition, GN and Skocic are not even equal to a single pubic hair of his.

He is one of those guys that have worked in nations complicated like iran.we don't want PARVAZI coach who show up in Tehran same times as players do for camp. Someone like Renard will make Tehran his place of residence and give his time. I have feeling we have a boxer shot Tolland him if go after him soon. He likes tm iran and iran and Taj has negotiated with him before . If don't take action soon. I think usa will grab him

Mehdi taremi went after azizi hard on the day he buried his dad.
Right now is good time for general and azizi peace it out. General needs to call him and say his condolences on his dad passing away and that will put end to the beef.
                              BUT
after taremi bashing azizi in his interview,
It tells me players don't want peace between gn and azizi and are telling gn f.... azizi don't peace.

                              AZIZI PASSIVE AGGERESSIVE PERSONALITY
WILL WAIT 40 DAYS after that he will go after
Taremi ,tm, and general will get the worst out of it.
IF TAREMI AND TM PLAYERS AND GENERAL
CALL AZIZI REGARDING HIS DAD it might kill the beef, but after taremi bashing him he might not answer them.

                                100% u right.
Azizi show with ali karimi paved the way for persian coach to come back by bashing cq. And people on that show got to work on tm staff, azizi ,and ando.
