We were under serious threat the first 15 minutes non stop, but we luckily made it out. I’d say the biggest issue is there is a huge gap between the wing back and the wingers since we are trying to employ only long balls so when they get the ball they are totally isolated.
the fact that we are playing in the middle of September with 2 free agents in a WCQ is absolutely shocking, I get Ghoddos since we are so depleted in midfield but wow Jahanbaksh when we are spoiled for wingers?
Ghaedi doing what he does and doing a good job scoring against weak / smaller Asian opposition. Scored at the best time, completely depleted the home side and ruins their halftime plans.
there was a sequence of play where UAE committed 3 fouls and their own players stopped playing since they assumed the ref would give a foul and they didn’t. They really tried to cancel the goal too for literally no reason lol.
