Ghaedi and Mohebi both carry TM right now. Both need to be guaranteed starters with Allahyar and Gholi behind them! Hopefully we don't see ARJ start anymore

He give me a little bit Taremi 2019-2022 vibes

He is arguably our best winger at the moment!
his physicality is big plus, even in this goal, he managed to go through between two D because of this advantage!

He came on today as a sub against Spartak Moscow and scored the winner with a penalty.

Wild to think he's been in TM for 5 years now!
to be fair I don't think I saw him once after Wilmots left? I remember Skocic dropped him and Ghaedi completely after a while

This more of a sign of how weak the Russian league is at the moment rather than Mohebbi improving.

^ he is still very much the same player he was when he played for Esteghlal under Sa Pinto from 2022-2023 lol

What's changed is that coaches finally figured out he's not a winger material but he's a damn good inside forward narekhar type of player(also good in the air). Even at club level you can see he plays in this hybrid counter attacking inside forward role.

He was also that role vs Japan BTW if y'all remember.

He needs to play more central for TM instead of LM/RM

He has a sold base of attributes to allow him to grow, a much more physical winger which is more rare these days. Just needed to work on his finishing and understanding of the game. I think he is well suited for Russia, but hope he can use this opportunity to move to a bigger club in 1-2 years

I wasn’t his biggest fan when he first put on a TM shirt, but he’s come a long way since then.

Goes to show you if a player is hard-working, humble, and coachable, his ceiling can get higher and higher.

More than his improvement, I’ve been impressed with his attitude.

his full highlight package from the 3-2 loss.

Good performance by him. Super strong aerially and smart hold up play, speed is fully back and great header under pressure. nice to see him getting back to his explosive best fairly quickly after injury.

Another who ppl questioned why he should go to Russia…karpin is a brilliant coach who has really fixed his game in many aspects. Of course many to still improve, but his progression is a major key for Tm moving forward. Just hope he can stay fit as with this type of form he will get some decent eu offers in the summer.
