Again the VAR cut our heads. I guess the machine or the refs there just don't like us. The obvious hand was not seen by the VAR? or is this just a way to win or not loose games? yeah for sure remember Qatar??? I hope we go back to real football with real referees. This is just not worth watching anymore.

He is one of those guys that age fast and has physically deterioded.
He has so much white hair it's unbelievable.
General is big on him and will give him big amount of playing time until he is around.

I was thinking u guys will come out attacking the f out of us...but I guess not having your head coach and a tie would kept you in first didn't want risk.

It is no coincidence Iran played better with 10 than with 11. We are not a Team able to dominate. Since Queiroz took over we learned to defend, to maintain discipline under pressure and to rely on counter attacks. Most players still got that. GN tries to enable players to dominate the game. Being dumb, he uses players like Milad, mohebbi and jahanbaksh who are fast and physically strong but weak in passing. This worked out against Japan as we were the underdog. But against defensive teams this is nonsense. If he wants to dominate, he needs players like Ghaedi, Gholi, Mehdi , Saman and Ali Karimi. Besides that:
Nemati was ok
milad was good
Hardani lacks experience
Saeid was good
Ghaedi and gholi were good
nourafkan was not bad at lb

GN at least did one good Move bringing mimo at rb.

Sardar should come off the bench atm.

Jahanbakhsh needs to be transfered to cm, imo his defensive skills are better than his offense at this stage of his career

So bummed out about the penalty :/ I was so ecstatic when the ref pointed to the spot right away. I hypothesize he thinks the ball hit gholi hand first, not that the uzbek defender arm was in natural position

Even if it had hit gholizadehs hand, it was in front of his leg or balls and not off his body..was a clear penalty..even with VAR we got robbed

Just say GN riid with his tactics and selections and call it a good day. We actually got better second half after Hardani red card and Azmoun got subbed out

Saw a shot of the Iran bench near the end of the match and to my delight, Hooman Afzeli was sitting, chilling there with legs wide open like a medieval kings.

That moment, something clicked in my head, and I have completely lost faith.

Any team that has these type of people on it's bench is a lost cause.
