Kobra best decision for tm was to leave Europe.

Webbie jan, investment in our youth has never been our path (it should be though).
In our khar too khar country, someone notices a very talented person at a very late stage and gives them a chance (Daei and Taremi were discovered when they were 21-22) or they leave the country early (Azmoun).

We are just very blessed to have talent show up in our people. Unfortunately we don't develop them properly or maximize their ability.

Even Germany has years of drought with pretty kiri players in the youth. It's like that sometimes, not much can be done against it. However in Iran the chances of that happening is x100.

You can't just leave this things up to chance, like I said even if you invest heavily in youth you're not always guaranteed of talent, let alone if you leave it up to chance.

Thankfully we are slowly starting to invest more over the last 10 years or so. A notable amount of change has occurred in that direction since I started following TM more closely again around 2010 ish.

• KIA, Sepahan, and Foolad academies have blossomed. You may recall a number of important number of TM players today had their roots in Sepahan: Azmoun, Mohebi, and Hosseinejad. Foolad produced Hazbavi. We're still waiting on KIA kids to blossom with Rostami, Reyvandi, and Dostali but they are all very young still so we gotta wait and see. Persepolis is also investing into their youth with donations recently. SS academy is starting to come in too with players like Zare and Khalife who have been on fire in PGPL this season.
• Our U17 is getting more attention: Abdi's project right now is very exciting. All these players like Allahyar and Hosseinzadeh came in recent years from increased attention to our U17 players.
• Most importantly: PGPL has demanded all squads have a certain number of U23 and U17 players, that's why you are suddenly seeing so many clubs playing young players in last two seasons. Some clubs have essentially gone U23 besides a few senior players. Pretty much any team you look at has a few young players in the starting lineup or as subs whether its Malavan, Gol Gohar, Aluminum, SS, PP, etc.
