I just don't get that you have to explain this here. Because if you don't understand what SOORAKH means then you are not a TM fan.

Further to this game. Our defensive shape needs alot of work, but one of the biggest culprits was Mohebbi. Several times he was caught not marking or forgetting his man.

For example, at minute 72, Qatar no. 23 runs away from him and he doesn't follow him quickly:

Mohebbi eventually makes his way back into the box, but he's just ball watching again instead of defending, and our rb and rcb have to shift in to cover, causing greater disorganization.

He did this on a few other defensive plays and gets in the way. It needs to be communicated to him over and over Ali Parvin style.
If you recall our Iran-Syria match in AC 2023 - his lack of defensive composure (plush Cheshmi trying to play hero ball) forced Taremi to have to recover and tackle and get that red card.

Again on defense, we gave way too much space to the Qatari defenders. The reason Mendes (sp?) made such a crisp pass is that no one was within 15 yards of him. This got resolved later. Unfortunately I think one of our CBs or Noorafkan also played Moez Ali onside, but I couldn't find a decent angle to show that. It was a mistake on both ends of the field.

My final point is that even a lethargic and sloppy Taremi does better than most midfielders in terms of pushing the ball up and distributing thhrough the middle.
Look where he collects the ball before our 3rd goal, and look when releases the pass. He takes 7 Qatari players out of the game in less than 2 seconds! No on else in Iran and Asia can really do that consistently and effectively. I really wish he was 5 years younger.
