Not the best strategy to join the middle of the season and i know he had visa issue and all that! Plus starting with youth team will be a long long shot!
nevertheless good luck to hin!
Any updates here? I have not seen a pic of him either on the main teams insta or their B team.
He was with Iran u20 camp from Dec 23-30. With visa issues, slight injury, and being at U20 camp every other month, he hasn't been in Spain itself longer than 30 cumulative days this season lol . Regardless though this has been a very strange transfer
There is a Gol Bezan interview of him coming out soon so you will have more information
He actually has another U20 camp next week as well. Abdi is trying to prepare for the U20 Asian cup pretty aggressively
These U20 camp are a good thing but it was better to let Andarz in Spain. It will benefit more if he stay there than traveling between Spain and Iran now. U20 friendly get him injured btw
Anyone wanna make the U20 Asian Cup thread? It's coming up soon.
Don't expect to hear from him at club level until next season most likely. The U20 Asian Cup is in 2 weeks and the U20 World Cup is in June (we only qualify if we manage to get to semifinals). Abdi has been relentlessly preparing for it camp after camp. Gotta see how our team performs soon and now he's prepared them.
I'm excited to see how these players have developed in last 2 years, they've all grown physically and quite a few of them are PGPL starters nowadays.
