It's too soon to thing about Japan or Korea. Maybe Korea beats Japan and Syria will qualify, we don't know. It's football, everything can happen.

Cheshmi strike was not at all as clean as this one and Ahmad noor doesn’t do it in competitive game
sometimes it's just matter of coincidence..!
in this case, ball fell very nicely for him to latch on to.....but he sure did bang it in beautifully with sweet spot of his foot..!
personally was more impressed with our 2nd cross and header goal than the banger earlier for the first ..!

      ps
ive only watched the first half action from last match so far..!!
although 4-0 at HT was impressive, can't help thinking it probably woulda ended up a lot closer of a contest had yemeni players had better temperament and composure and ref hadnt sent off their player early on for an amature foul and our player got lucky not be similarly kicked out for obvious retaliation ..!! honestly we were lucky not to be down 0-2 until that point Yemen looked a far better and dangerous side..!!

      when is the next game..??

Be careful, you're gonna get called a "fardin" by older members.

Telling a bunch of 19 year old kids to throw a game to make their path "easier" is probably the WORST thing to teach them. At such a critical moment in their development, telling them that they can't win no matter what is insane. They're gonna represent us at club level and in foreign leagues for next 10-12 years, telling them to take the "easier" path is so incredibly self-defeating that I can't even talk about it LOLL

Sometimes you just read something and you realize why corruption is so rampant in our culture, and why we're so unlikely to go anywhere even after IR for a long time.

I watched the Japan vs Syria match and those Japanese kids had such a warriors mentality, even when they were behind they were non-stop playing at 100% until they overcame the odds. No wonder why our players go to Europe and come back while theirs go to Brighton and start

Its not a youth mentality thing. Sir Alex was old and thought the same. Quieroz was old and thought the same.

Even if we told them to throw the game, do we think a bunch of Iranian teenagers have the mental game or tenacity to up their game from "throwing a game" to s***housing Japan or Korea?

We are consistently one of the mentally weakest teams. If we were as mentally deadly as Real or Atletico Madrid maybe we could do such a thing.

Look at how US plays a top10 team vs how we do. They actually look to annoy, take the game to them and think they have a chance. When we play a top10 team for the first 30 minutes we look like this was a punishment given to us.

this is where adults err head D coach come in and start his bench not his regulars. Head coach don't need to tell The teenagers to take a dive just send the B team .or give start the regulars and give them wrong instructions to fail. Never tell the teenagers to throw the match , that's a risk. Because of their age they might rebel againat the coach and win the match......

Soccer tournamENS need to position yourself in a easiest path to advance instead OF FARDIN BAZI OF GALENOIE DID, CHOOSED SYRIA ,JAPAN,HOME TEAM QATAR IN SPAN OF 8 DAYS INSTEAD OF OTHER SIDE OF THE BRACKET.
General should of been fired just for that decision.

I have feeling Japan will beat Korea, so finishing first in our group is a must . Let's tie or beat uzbakistan.

I'm sorry these kids are trying to be professionals and already play on established teams. At least playing B team would make sense to "rest legs"

You dont think they would pick up on incorrect instructions and rebel anyway?

                      Would be a funny conversation.

"Hey Andarz, I know you are Azizi sized but you guard that gholchomagh looking Uzbek on corners ok"

I'm genuinely baffled where all these 2 meter tall kids are coming from all of a sudden. First it was Zare, then Khalife, and now Mobin (our U20 CDM). The guy looks seriously exciting too, because I always pay attention to how technical a CDM is, and this kid has some CLEAN passes. Any goals scored through the middle or long balls started with him. Even Razzaghinia is like 6'2 almost? good god.

Is anything watching play for Kheybar? He played full 90 recently in Hazfi cup.

I kinda wanna see a team of giants team melli version with Kaveh, Zare, Khalife, and this guy

Officially 1 but technically 2. One of them was deemed as an OG
