these two Ghaedi and Mohebi are soooo important for us ….

Only saw the highlights. Shoja needs to be dropped ASAP. He has no brain. Your up 3-0 let him go worse comes to worse they score one goal and your not leaving your team vulnerable with 10 players. We should play most of our bench for the Kyrgyzstan match. How did Karimi play today ?Comment

I am most disgusted by Taremi's attitude towards Mohebbi. I've always loved MT and I believe he is the best footballer Iran has ever produced. His game reading talent is top world class, he is unselfish, and the best playmaker any coach could hope for. But today he really disappointed me. This kind of behavior towards your teammates is terrible for any player, but when you are the captain it's just f'd up. I just lost a little bit of respect for the man.

My thoughts on the match:
1. 1st half was one of TM’s best performances under GN.
2. This is the FOURTH game (that I remember) under GN where we get a red card: Syria, Qatar, Uzbekistan, and now North Korea. This is because his overall defensive tactics are extremely poor. Players make last ditch efforts which result in these expulsions.
3. Our players get complacent way too quickly. Reminded me of our match against Uzebekistan in the previous round when we went up 2-0 at the half, only us to give up two goals. This comes back to our players’ mentality, which goes back to our coach.
4. Taremi’s lack of goal scoring at Inter is causing a mental block. His playmaking is brilliant—but he needs to shoot against the goalie with more conviction. It’s almost like he cannot take that playmaking hat off his head, and it’s glued on. Someone needs to tell him that he’s ALSO a finisher and show him clips of his scoring at Porto.
5. Alireza Jahanbakhsh needs to get in club form again to get the captain armband from Taremi. Mehdi does not have a captain’s demeanor.Comment

In some positive news, I would like to highlight just how important Ghaedi and Mohebi have been for TM in the last 15 months (Ghaedi more this year). Both have grown into some wonderful players. Shame our defense and defensive transition doesn't exist to truly let them shine
