Yes does he have Passport and sarbazi fixed.
But theses things get fixed if he wants to play for Iran and Iran/IFF/GN contacted him to join us. I think these two latter should be the 2nd and 3rd questions

Iranians started hating Team Melli around that time, boycotting them and calling them Team Mullah.

Although to be fair, some of the players (except the likes of Torabi, Amiri, and Beiranvand of course) did wear black armbands during their club matches mainly abroad, and they collectively decided not to sing the IR national anthem against England.

Anyways, I don’t want to derail the thread, but my point was that it wouldn’t be too far fetched for IR to want Ghalenoei to call up a diaspora player to garner fan support.
In my opinion fans owe it to this group of players.
fans destroyed the best group of players in one tournament since the 1978. Fans over reaction and being hypocrites cost these group of players a r16 appearance. This team had support it would of played Holland in r16......

Yes or no answers

if iran had beated Qatar in ac and won the final against JORDAN the celebration among people would of been even greater than 1997.
YES THERE IS CAMPAING FROM INSIDE AND OUTSIDE AGAINST TM OVER POLITICS but not winning jack has a lot to do with it.

for the best example of what IR wants football to be look at Mashhad. A city with 2 unused stadiums with good pitches, multiple 5 star hotels, and zero clubs and investment in actual team football in the top 3 divisions.

    IR is laughing at us.

I agree with you on Mashhad, but at the same time, this is the same regime that sent Basij to the stadium stands at the World Cup & Asian Cup, handed out sweets in the streets of Tehran after the win over Wales around the time of the Mahsa Amini protests, and held watch parties in Tehran for their cronies during the Iran vs USA game at the 2022 World Cup.

Every nation’s government wants their national teams to do well as a show of face (e.g. Olympics, World Cup, etc), including the Islamic Republic of Iran. At the same time, IR wants to suppress the fans from gathering en masse, but don’t mistake that for overall fan support of their national teams.
