If this was CQ he would be asking Taj to step in and help + making a ruckus to expedite it. GN probably doesn't care much seeing as how he hasn't met him face to face.
so far with Eckert we only had contact from Ghalenoei’s assistant so far
I hope the next tm boss is at least proactive in solving these situations fast the last 3 haven’t been.
we need proof and paperwork to show his grandad was born in Iran - so far we don’t have that yet

Look at the Aria Jasur Hageswa situation - CQ didn't try to call him up until two months after the first thread about him went up on PDFC- coincidence? i really highly doubt it and i wouldnt be surprised if team melli staff watch some threads here at least.
And of course Gol Bezan's interview with Kaveh was bigged up by iranian media
pdfc and gol bezan are making a difference to Iran's football imo - may not be noticeable at first hand but when you dig deeper its plain to see

Worst worst case scenario it doesn’t work out and we play saharkhizan who is doing great. Midfield is where we really need to grasp at anything that comes our way, striker position, not so mcuh

Also, there were some talks here about her being related somewhow to Ali parvin through marriage or something. He can help too
however as i suggested initially, i still suspect this whole thing is mostly just a chaaploosi/fan appeasing publicity stunt by GN and his TM cronies to to soften up a bit the recent harsh criticism of his coaching performances regardless of his winning record at helm of TM so far..!?
i just dont see a grave need for a Striker reinforcement in the current TM talent mix, certainly not a faintly-iranian dou raggeh who comes with lots of hassles and paperwork to register as iran international..!!?

I agree he doesn't seem so motivated with TM, playing a world cup for playing a world cup whether it is with Iran, indonesia or Zimbabwe or X or Y seems to be the main motivation.
I honestly don't understand how a football player can be motivated by playing a world cup for the sake of playing a world cup. It is not champions league. World cup like Olympics is all about representing your country. if the country you represent has no importance and can be exchange depending of opportunities, then it is completely meaningless.
I don't know personally I think playing a world cup with another country than Iran is equal or even worse that not playing a wc at all

Even Steven beitashour said in his 2019 interview that international fixtures were the best for getting looks abroad - playing a wcq or Asian cup puts you under the spotlight for global recognition and can seal you offers from teams around the world. Even with beitashour’s 6 caps for Iran it was enough for him to get an offer from China pre Covid .
Him playing for Iran puts him in the shop window for the rich Arab clubs - a couple of good performances In the Asian cup or World Cup and he probably prolongs his career and gets an extra pay check on top of it
There’s a reason why some Japanese born North Koreans opt to play for North Korea despite the political headache it entails - the marketing they get from it is invaluable towards their careers
I don’t expect him to be head over heals when he’s only 1/4 Iranian - hard to have that much attachment when his grandfather didn’t even live with him in Germany and has now passed . No doubt we are his second choice but we were also second choice to beitashour who said in a podcast interview it was a shame he got injured while training for the US
football is a business and players know that from a marketing perspective nothing beats top level international football in terms of eyeballs what’s gonna top the World Cup ? NothingPlease watch and Subscribe:

About attachement I also understand but I expect him to start to go closer to Iran and iranian culture/language if he starts to represent TM. Dejagah and Zandi did a wonderful job on that.

Iranians immigrating by millions, settling, marrying other races and so on , there is nothing wrong if 1/4 or 1/8 or 1/16 or 1/32 persian play for tm , even though he only wants be in wc and make money out of it. As long as that 1 is there and he gives his best on the field he is as iroooni as anyone else...
If there is an Oz of iranian in someone he or she is iranian in my eyes .
