Only one Malaysian sports twitter account has discussed it and said themselves it looks like a rumour - Malaysians similar to Indonesia tend to go into mania whenever there’s a transfer rumour surrounding one of their players so it’s likely some of them were toying with transfermarkt when the rumour came out

Find it odd that Persepolis are scouting Malaysia for talents - again with Ali pour in bad form and Lucas Jao looking useless it does make sense on the face of it

I really dislike this new Persepolis and Esteghlal strategy of buying young Uzbek/East Asian players and then selling them to Arab league. It's really concerning that in the last 8 years, Persepolis has only developed 2 actual Iranian players and sent them Europe: Moharrami and Alipour.

Same with Esteghlal, I can only recall Hosseinzadeh to Belgium in last 4-5 years.

It seems like the only teams actually caring for youth development are: Sepahan and Gol Gohar (and more recently Malavan and Aluminum Arak)
