The most likely friendly match opponents for Team Melli in 2025 and 2026

As most of you or all of you are aware, this year, Team Melli will play at 2025 CAFA Nations Cup from late August to early September. The teams will be the 6 CAFA members and possibly two invitees. Then in September or October, Team Melli will likely play Russia in a friendly match. Although, Russia NT is not reliable and at times cancel matches. Russians are negotiating with Nigeria for June friendly and will most likely play North Korea sometime this year, also negotiating with several unnamed African and Asian national teams.

So let's see what other possible match opponents will there be for Team Melli.

They have been playing Iran in futsal and youth levels, with Branko as head coach, if he doesn't mind facing Ghalenoei, then a friendly match would be possible, specially this year when most teams have their calendars full.

🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia (sometime this year or in 2026)

At youth level, they've faced Iran. Ghaleneoi and FFIRI were very interested to play a friendly with them.

🇰🇿 Kazakhstan (they're available in November this year)

In Futsal, they've played Iran in friendly match.

Belarus is the most reliable, they've played Iran in Women's football, Fustal (Men's & Women's), Beach Soccer, Youth level. Ghalenoei as coach had tied them in friendly match back in 2007. Ghalenoei, FFIRI and Iran's Ministry of Sport would all like Team Melli to play them.

Iran's previous Minister of Sport signed a MoU with them. However, Serbia has never played Iran in friendly match. In recent years, former Yugoslav countries have been unreliable. Example, last year Croatia canceled a friendly futsal match with Iran.

The current sport minister also suggested friendly football match with Serbia.

🇸🇳 Senegal (They're available in November or sometime in 2026)

They've played Team Melli in 2022 before the World Cup. Then last year or year before their Beach Soccer team played friendly matches in Iran. Then in 2023, Iran's ambassador to Senegal met with the President of Football Federation of Senegal.

Apart from these, don't get your hopes high. If lucky maybe Algeria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Uganda, Mali, Burkina Faso, South Africa might play Team Melli, otherwise FFIRI will try to arrange with their favorite AFC teams such as Oman, Qatar, Iraq, Jordan.

I would say Kenya and Senegal are most probably reliable as well, if FFIRI really wants November friendly matches with them could happen this year.

It will probably be the same as usual 40% average CAF team, 40% random AFC teams, and 20% surprise. They always manage to pull at least one decent camp out of their ass. Looking back at the whole Sweden/Lithuania/Turkey/Senegal/Uruguay/Panama/Venezuela/Tunisia/Bosnia games we've had in the last 2 cycles.

Always have low expectations though, this federation is the best at disappointing

IFF always finds money in their "pocket" when its time. Recall our Austria and Bulgaria camps in 2022 and 2023. They also were setting up a whole camp in Canada before they got cancelled in 2022. As usual it's gonna be a mix of 90% shitty teams and 1-3 somewhat decent friendlies again like the last 3 cycles.

Either way no amount of friendlies is going to fix this garbage team with ghalemorghi at the helm. We're probably gonna lose 5-0 again to any European/South American team with a decent offense at the WC

Apparantly Ghalenoei has composed a list of nations he would like Team Melli to request Football Federation to arrange friendly matches with, but honestly it's a joke, so far from reported news in the past several months we know that Turkiye, Argentina were in his list, today another has been revealed Belgium

Argentina - he realized that they request amount in several million dollars which makes it impossible.

But doesn't he know that Turkiye and Belgium have a full schedule for FIFA days this year and are unavailable? Does he or others working with him know how to search on Google and find out about various teams known schedules for fixtures?

Russia match in October is not finalized as well. So far it's just CAFA tournament which we don't know if there will be two invitee teams participating or not.

امیر قلعهنویی و درخواست مسابقه دوستانه با بلژیک!



تیم ملی فوتبال ایران در آستانه دو بازی حساس برابر امارات و ازبکستان در مرحله سوم مقدماتی جام جهانی ۲۰۲۶ در منطقه آسیا قرار دارد.

دو دیدار ایران در نوروز میتوانند مسیر صعود را مشخص کنند، به خصوص بازی برابر ازبکستان که در صورت کسب نتیجهای مطلوب از این دیدار، صعود تیم ملی را قطعی خواهد کرد. اما یکی از مشکلات اساسی تیم ملی که در ماههای گذشته بارها خود را نشان داده، ضعف در ساختار دفاعی بوده است. امیر قلعه نویی با تحلیل عملکرد تیم در مسابقات گذشته و دریافت انتقادهای متعدد، حالا تصمیم گرفته است در آستانه آغاز اردوی بعدی تیم ملی و برگزاری اردوی تیم ملی، تغییرات مهمی در این بخش ایجاد کند تا تیم ملی بتواند با سازماندهی بهتری در این دو بازی حساس حاضر شود.
ترمیم خط دفاعی؛ مأموریت بزرگ قلعهنویی

یکی از اصلیترین نقاط ضعف تیم ملی در دوران امیر قلعهنویی، ضعف در فاز دفاعی است. ایران در جام ملتهای آسیا ۲۰۲۳ در ۶ بازی، ۷ گل دریافت کرد که این آمار برای تیمی با سابقه و قدرت ایران نگرانکننده است. حتی در مرحله مقدماتی جام جهانی، با وجود صدرنشینی، تیم ملی در برخی مسابقات با مشکلات دفاعی جدی مواجه شد. به خصوص اینکه تیم ملی در دو بازی مقابل دو حریف قعر جدولی یعنی قرقیزستان و کره شمالی ۴ گل دریافت کرد تا نگرانیها و تردیدها در این بخش بیشتر شود. در هر صورت از تغییرات مداوم در ترکیب مدافعان گرفته تا ضعف در سیستمهای دفاعی مختلف، همه این عوامل باعث شده ساختار دفاعی تیم ملی ثبات لازم را نداشته باشد. این درحالی است که قلعهنویی و تیم آنالیز او در هفتههای اخیر روی بررسی این ضعفها تمرکز کردهاند. تغییرات احتمالی در سیستم بازی، استفاده از زوجهای جدید در قلب دفاع و به کارگیری استراتژیهای تازه برای پوشش نقاط ضعف، بخشی از اقداماتی است که سرمربی تیم ملی برای دو بازی پیش رو در نظر گرفته است؛ بنابراین مقابل امارات و ازبکستان، انتظار میرود تیم ملی با ترکیب و سیستم متفاوتی در فاز دفاعی بازی کند؛ چراکه این دو مسابقه حکم آزمونی بزرگ برای تعیین میزان موفقیت اصلاحات تاکتیکی قلعهنویی را دارند.

فیفادیهای تعیینکننده تا جام جهانی

با توجه به صعود محتمل تیم ملی به جام جهانی ۲۰۲۶، برنامههای آمادهسازی تیم در یک سال آینده از اهمیت بالایی برخوردار هستند. طبق برنامهریزی فدراسیون، تیم ملی تا خرداد ۱۴۰۵ یعنی آغاز رقابتهای جام جهانی باید چندین بازی دوستانه برگزار کند؛ بنابراین فیفادیهای بعدی تا آن زمان نقش تعیینکنندهای در آمادهسازی تیم ملی خواهند داشت. اما چالش بزرگ این است که در این مقطع، بسیاری از تیمهای ملی جهان همچنان درگیر مسابقات مقدماتی جام جهانی هستند و انتخاب حریفان قدرتمند با نامهای مطرح برای دیدارهای تدارکاتی کار سادهای نخواهد بود.
یکی از برنامههای قطعی تیم ملی، حضور در تورنمنت کافا در شهریور ۱۴۰۴ است. ایران که قهرمان دوره قبلی این رقابتها بوده، امیدوار است با تکرار قهرمانی در این مسابقات، محک خوبی برای آمادهسازی خود بزند. پس از آن، در مهرماه دیدار دوستانهای با روسیه برنامهریزی شده است. تیم ملی در مسیر آمادهسازی جام ملتهای آسیا ۲۰۲۳ نیز با روسیه بازی کرد و حالا دوباره این دیدار و البته حضور در تورنمنت کافا تکرار خواهد شد. این درحالی است که با وجود اعلام فدراسیون فوتبال ایران، هنوز این دیدار قطعیت پیدا نکرده و مذاکرات بر سر جزئیات در خصوص نهایی شدن این مسابقه ادامه دارد.





مذاکرات برای دیدار با بلژیک

یکی از مهمترین و تازهترین خبرها در مورد برنامههای تیم ملی، مذاکرات با فدراسیون فوتبال بلژیک برای برگزاری یک دیدار دوستانه در سال ۲۰۲۵ است. تیم ملی بلژیک که در حال حاضر در رتبه هشتم ردهبندی فیفا قرار دارد، یکی از قدرتهای فوتبال اروپا محسوب میشود و بازی برابر این تیم میتواند یک محک جدی برای ایران باشد. اما چالش اصلی، درخواست مالی فدراسیون بلژیک از ایران است. گفته میشود بلژیکیها مبلغ قابل توجهی برای این بازی درخواست کردهاند که میتواند مانعی جدی در راه نهایی شدن این دیدار باشد.
شیاطین سرخ فوتبال اروپا در سالهای اخیر همواره یکی از تیمهای قدرتمند اروپا بوده و با وجود حذف از دور اول مرحله حذفی یورو ۲۰۲۴ با وجود ستارگانی، چون کوین دی بروینه، روملو لوکاکو و تیبو کورتوا در میادین بینالمللی عملکرد قابل توجهی داشتهاند. این تیم در جام جهانی ۲۰۱۸ به مقام سوم رسید و در سالهای اخیر نیز همواره به عنوان یک قدرت فوتبالی در عرصه فوتبال دنیا نام این کشور مطرح بوده است؛ بنابراین دیدار دوستانه مقابل چنین تیمی که در یک دهه اخیر سابقه حضور در رتبه اول رنکینگ فیفا را دارد، فرصت مناسبی برای سنجش تواناییهای تیم ایران خواهد بود. نکته قابل توجه اینکه پیش از این کادرفنی تیم ملی و قلعهنویی به دلیل حریفان احتمالی تیم ملی در جام جهانی درخواست مذاکره با حریفانی از آمریکای جنوبی و آفریقا برای برگزاری دیدارهای تدارکاتی را داده بودند که به نظر میرسد این مذاکرات همچنان ادامه دارد.
رامین بر میگردد؟

در فاصله کوتاه باقی مانده به اردوی جدید تیم ملی، صحبتهای زیادی درباره لیست بازیکنان دعوت شده مطرح شده است. یکی از نامهایی که انتظار میرفت در این اردو حضور داشته باشد، احمد نوراللهی است که به نظر میرسد مدت غیبت این بازیکن در اردوهای تیم ملی تمدید خواهد شد. این در شرایطی است که هافبک لژیونر ایرانی تیم فوتبال الوحده که در لیگ امارات عملکرد درخشانی داشته، یکی از آمادهترین بازیکنان ایرانی در ماههای اخیر محسوب میشود. اما شنیدهها حاکی از آن است که او همچنان در لیست قلعهنویی جایی ندارد. برخی این تصمیم را ناشی از اختلافات گذشته میدانند و معتقدند سرمربی تیم ملی که سابقه چنین رفتاری را در گذشته در تیم ملی و حتی در عرصه باشگاهی با برخی بازیکنان داشته، این بار هم همچنان روی برخی بازیکنان خاص نظر مساعدی ندارد!
همچنین دنیس اکرت، مهاجم ایرانی-آلمانی که پیشتر از او به عنوان سورپرایز تیم ملی در اردوهای آینده یاد میشد نیز حداقل در لیست جدید جایی ندارد. درباره این بازیکن نیز به نظر میرسد روند مذاکرات برای دعوت از او به تیم ملی به نتیجه نرسیده و از طرفی عملکرد این بازیکن دورگه نیز در ماههای اخیر چندان قابل توجه نبوده است؛ بنابراین همین موضوع باعث شده کادر فنی تیم ملی درباره دعوت او تردید داشته باشد.
از سوی دیگر، یکی از تغییرات احتمالی در لیست جدید، بازگشت رامین رضاییان به ترکیب تیم ملی است. با توجه به عملکرد قابل قبول رامین در رقابتهای باشگاهی همراه با استقلال در لیگ برتر و لیگ نخبگان و البته سابقه همراهی این چهره با قلعهنویی در جام ملتهای ۲۰۲۳، احتمال بازگشت دوباره رامین به تیم ملی مطرح شده است. در این میان، البته حضور صالح حردانی دیگر بازیکن جناح راست استقلال در اردوی بعدی تیم ملی تقریباً قطعی شده است و او یکی از مدافعان راست تیم ملی در اردوهای پیش رو خواهد بود. به هر صورت با توجه به شرایط فعلی، تیم ملی در مسیر صعود به جام جهانی ۲۰۲۶ قرار دارد، اما آنچه اهمیت دارد برنامههای آمادهسازی پس از صعود است. فدراسیون فوتبال ایران باید تصمیمات مهمی درباره اردوها، دیدارهای تدارکاتی و ساختار فنی تیم ملی تا زمان برگزاری جام جهانی ۲۰۲۶ اتخاذ کند. اما یک سؤال کلیدی همچنان باقی است: آیا امیر قلعهنویی روی نیمکت تیم ملی خواهد ماند؟
در صورت صعود تیم ملی ایران به جام جهانی، اگر مهدی تاج همچنان رئیس فدراسیون فوتبال باشد، احتمالاً با قلعهنویی قطع همکاری صورت گرفته و یک مربی خارجی جایگزین او خواهد شد. هرچند که تیم ملی با قلعهنویی مسیر خود را به خوبی طی میکند، اما آینده نیمکت تیم ملی همچنان در هالهای از ابهام قرار دارد. در هر صورت از آنجایی که تاج دوباره در فدراسیون فوتبال ماندنی شده است، پس در ماههای آینده مشخص خواهد شد که آیا قلعهنویی فرصت هدایت تیم ملی در جام جهانی را پیدا میکند یا خیر؟
