The team need to have some sort of anxiety training when they play for the national team as everything is rushed.
There needs to be some changes with this team/squad but it won’t happen. We need fresh legs but no one is coming forward, as long as we make the World Cup then they won’t make changes.
You only are as strong as your weakest links and I am not wise enough to pretend there is an easy way to fix this except with years of practice at youth levels.

Not a big GN fan, but to be fair, the Azmoun miss before halftime was very bad. The build up to the goal scoring opportunity was good.
In both instances that we got scored on, we had enough numbers, but just very poor individual defensive awareness. This would never fly under CQ. He’d rip them a new one for those errors.

Now that we have qualified, its time to move the goalposts.
The next excuse for why we can't play Hosseinejad will be "We need to win to keep our world cup ranking for pot 2".
Then after that, its going to be "its too late, we need to get the starting 11 maxxed out together instead of introducing new players"
Then next asian cup, its going to be "one last hoorah for these oldsters"
Then next world cup qualifying cycle its going to be "these old players are still good enough, our youth is not as good11~!"

Honestly rewatched the leadup to both goals, and the two most at fault are Shoja and Milad.
Shoja - incredibly bad decision making
Milad - bad decision making AND failing to cover mark the attacker.
I think 80% of our defensive problems could be fixed if we subbed Shoja for a CB who can properly mark and find someone who can actually play football for LB. The other 20% is a combination of DMs, weak goalkeeping by Beiranvand, and unreliable Hardani who is sometimes good/sometimes bad

Loses a header (against the tallest Uzbek player) because he is out of position.... then tries to recover, but again is so out of position that JB has to run back and try and cover for him. Same player makes the cross.
Besides one tackle in the 2nd half, I would say he was pretty much our 2nd worst player last night.

go watch the highlights again
. And you see that Again milad and shoja F up and can’t clear a simple cross,
2nd goal Biero and shoja what they doing ? But mostly beiro
these 3 to 4 players this year in tractor and Persepolis , Berio , kanani , shoja , even Milad we can make a highlight compilation lasting 10 minutes of these 4 making mistakes after mistake
Berio
Kanani Shoja Milad
This zoj those not work if you playing against a decent team, whoever the coach is they need to understand that at the World Cup these 4 players can’t not compete, and they will make alot of mistakes ……. They make a whole boat load of mistakes in the IPL every week ….
i hated CQ tactics , but one think he was really good at finding defenders and he seriously over looked these 2 clowns kanani and shoja with great reason cause not only do they hurt the team when the play but the also hurt the team when they don’t play ,,,.
Jusr having them on the team is a big distraction, I would go as far as even saying the same for Beira nowadays every game he makes a mistake ,,..
no one is bigger than the team ? No
I think you don’t invite these 3 for the next 2 games and seriously test the replacements ,
How old is Hardani ? 26
Compared to Shoja Milad and kanani? 35 31 31
how many caps does Hardani have ? 12
Compared to shoja milad kanani? 49 69 59
berio 79 caps 32 years of age . ?
jahanbakash 31 years 91 caps ,?
these player aren’t getting any better , JB still can’t give a proper pass , he still can’t even do a proper shot ! I mean isn’t time we actually give the replacements a chance win or lose .
Sardar 31 92 caps
Taremi 32. 91 caps
we have so many player approaching a 100 caps
it troubling that , seriously neither Sardar or Taremi or JB , or Beiro need the experience anymore they need to 2 some even 3 World Cup already,,,,,
we need to test the replacements now …

Did anyone else notice that Sardar didn´t celebrate last night? I haven´t seen any pictures of him during the celebrations either. I wonder if he was just disappointed in himself or if he feels like there isn´t anything to be happy about as the team doesn´t play well? It´s all speculations but Sardar has always been the goofy and happy guy.
