Strama is not a winner. Has no success at senior level.

Esteghlal fans won’t let go until anyone affiliated with them takes over TM.

I’d rather any of the past Persepolis coaches (Kartal, Osmar, Yahya, Calderon, Branko) before Strama.

The problem is that both Esteghlal fans and Persepolis fans want TM to be made of their players and coaches. Both fan bases are equally biased. Im a neutral so I Can see it.

Regarding change of the coach. I dont mind it, as I dont Think GN is tactically good enough. At the world cup we need to be solid in defence and in midfield. Our offence Cant win us matches alone, because the opposition is better. In Asia our offence Can score against anybody. But at the world cup nobody fears Taremi or Azmoun.

But let me tell you. A new coach wont change the player selection. 95% of the same players Will be called up. No coach is going to drop Shoja, as it is a Big risk. They Will see that he has been part of the qualification and has the experience and knows the team and players Well. If a coach drops him and we get hammered, Everybody Will say why did you change the defence that know eachother. We are Iran, our players are not known. So a new coach wont know about Hazbavi, Aghasi and so on. So the players Will be the same. The Only thing that can change, is out defensive setup. Which for me is more important than the players. Because in GNs system, it doesnt matter if we play Shoja or whoever. The holes Will still be there. Its much much bigger than the players.

Then there is CQ. He May know our players, but I have one Big concern with him. Will he just stick to the players he know and trust from before? So our defence Will go back to Hosseini and PAG? What about Mohebi? Does he even know that he is one our most important players now? CQ made a Big Big mistake in 2022, and that was dropping Shoja and specially Kanani. I remember Kanani being our star defender ik the qualifiers and against Uruguay and Senegal. Why did he drop him? We went with the players he knew and trusted from before.

So our problem is not just the players. Its the system we play and lack of defensive strategies. A new coach Will make small changes in the squad. If anybody Think a new coach Will drop 10 experienced players and invite 10 Young players who has zero experince in the national team, you are in for a Big disappointment. Specially 1 year before a world cup with limited time with the squad. This is how Football work guys

There is no way you would rather take Branko and other PP randoms before a former coach of Inter Milan and Udinese for almost 150 games...dadash the Persepolis koolaid is crazy . His connections alone to send our youth to Serie A would be more than anything those other coaches can provide.

Bento is actually a good option if we wanted to ditch GN - still not the best idea, but if anyone was an option, I'd go with him. Proven success with Korea and I am not going to blame him for having a tough time with UAE's shit team

Strama hasn't had success with anyone for years. Coaching at Inter over a decade ago isn't impressive if your recent accomplishment was failing with Al Gharafa. Also he'd been unemployed for 3 years

              1. Any coach ( European or South American ) that has experience playing offensive football , and who has coached at the elite level and is a winner .

Best thing right now is not coaching change but assistant coaching changes. If we get some actual assistants instead of placeholders. What does Ando even do in TM? Afazeli? My mom could scout PGPL and diaspora better. What does Saeed Alhoei do? That one dude with the $400 online token certificate from Barcelona?

                    1. Coach needed to be changed , we have 15 months time that is a lot of time

                    2. Shoja for 1 has to be dropped from the team all together and , maybe kanani also ezzat and JB are not good enough to be starters anymore

                    3. Iran need 8 friendly games , 2 against each continent ( Panama, Jamaica, Paraguay, Uruguay, Nigeria , Senegal , Belgium , Italy )

                    4. we need new players in defense and midfield

                    5. preparation starts ASAP

or else this will be our faith in WC26

Kartal said that TM style of football will run into major issues at the World Cup.

                      Kartal for TM.

At this point anyone with an actual system and 3-4 professional assistants would be better

Dear Mr. Taj... Your TM manager selection just got TM into the WC, with 2 games to go, with no defeats and without any complaints regarding poor facilities and no friendlies, with a cheap contract. Now it's time to listen up and fire him. Bring on a very expensive foreign coach because

I am not convinced that adding quality assistants to GN will solve the pb. GN act like a dictator and I don't see him getting influenced by an assistant. Manicone has an excellent resume but the defensive display and the squad/player selection is very poor. When GN make no sub until late while we are behind or outdated cliché sub like a tall olagh like Moghanlou to equalize against Qatar or sub out a striker for a defender to keep a result shows GN is the only one that decide

I have a feeling shoja will not be invited next camp, or at least that he won’t start. Similar to his moghanlou was dropped

He will be back for the World Cup, this isn't our first rodeo with GN. He is gonna call up Moghanlou again very soon
