Asian Games are in the same year as world cup
(1974, 78, 82, 86, 90, 94, 98, 2002, 2006, 2010)

This is before Irn-Qatar in Asian Cup 1988 in Qatar. I remmber this game very vividly. Bavi and Pius scored for a 2-0 victory against a very powerful Qatar

I really liked the white/red shirts Team Melli wore in World Cup 2006, wish we still had Puma. Just got a TM-kit of my dad who came back from Iran a couple of weeks ago, and the current looks well too. But I really hate the ''I.R'' displayed, even on the back. Also, it's quite irritating me if the scorebord shows IRI and not just IRN. It seems like the words ''Islamic Republic'' have blown the real Iran away: IRI

Best uniforms we have ever had. If I were to guess, based on the lineup I think this is the 2-2 tie with Japan in Azadi in early 1989 (Dehdari's last game in charge).
