Thanks for the post. Two things I don't like about how they are building these stadiums:

1. The track. Is there any other reason (other than unruly fans who might throw things) that we continually place tracks in our soccer stadiums? The stadiums would look so much better without those damn tracks!

2. Why does it seem all our stadiums are in the middle of nowhere?

I have seen that a lot in other countries as well, it would be chaos on match days if the stadiums were placed in the middle of the city.

and you forgot to add; why do they all look the same? they look somewhat like Azadi Stadium

"Persapolis" (Takh e Jamsheed") took less time to construct than this stadium !!!!!
I guess there is no concept of football stadium in Iran. Everything they build is a Olympic stadium with tracks around it... does not create the same atmosphere for football. It much more to build and more costly to maintain!

امروز از اون طرف رد میشدم سر خیابان یک توقف زدم دو تا عکس گرفتم چون کار داشتم نمیتونستم طرف خود ورزشگاه برم
ولی چیزی که مشخص بود گردان جدیدی نصب نشده بود در اصل طبقه دوم فعالیت خاصی نمیشه
تقریبا مشخص هم بود چون قبل انتخابات هر هفته سه شنبه بازدید بود ولی الان سه هفته س دیگه بازدید نیست

Thanks for the photos .. dastet dard nakoneh, but these are more or less the same as what we saw a year ago! looks like nothing has changed. The place still looks like a deserted area .. really sad stroy!

Can you imagine if we had a deadline to build standiums to host a football event!? we would have never made it!!

It doesn't look like NJ stadium will be finished by the LAST promised date (end of Mordad) or in 50 days.

It will be probably finishd in 2-3 years.
