    Haha Thanks

It's nothing bad - I just have two Finals left so I can't spend much time writing up long responses.

@ But if half the rumors are bazar garmi, doesn't that just prove my point? The players are just hiking up their own prices for their own gain (and use 'European' offers to do so). That only reinforces the idea that they're thinking about their pockets.

That probably means they are hiking up their own prices, but it doesn't mean at all that they don't want to play in Europe.
Anyhow I see that you are busy with your finals and if you don't have time we can continue this discussion at another time.
Now I'm not saying that I am right and you are wrong, but we can't judge until we have the full story.
My point is Nader jan that it is unfair to without very much proof say that our players are money hungry slackers, we don't know how they really have it, and it is unfair to throw away all of their hard work and not acknowledge them because they play in the IPL.

This video brought tears to my eyes, I would give my left arm to have a young Karimi in our squad, unfortunately players with his dribbling capabilities come once in a life time

We need to clone him! keep some hair for later.
I don't know much detail about his byren days but i think his language barrier is what stopped him from playing from Bundesliga. I may be wrong though.

I think he also had a very bad injury.

Well according to this logic, the person before him was judging all legionaires based on Omid Nazari...

There was a reason why they called him "The Maradona of Asia", and this video proves why! Faghat AK8!

I know you are a respected member of this forum and I didnt mean to offend you, but claiming div 5 in germany>IPL is the most exxagerated statement I have ever heard. Esteghlal beat dynamo kiev 2-1 in a friendly, Perspolis barely lost 2-1 to Bayern munich, yet you think their div 5 is stronger than our league?
You are right in most aspects. I did go a bit far and indirectly insulted you and I am sorry about that. SS & PP had those matches, but the other teams had nothing to lose one was a preseason the other was a friendly in Iran with an all Iranian referee squad. As far as our league goes, our players are being payed extremely high so are the coaches. With that much money the clubs could buy better training facilities, equipment, grounds, professional coaches, and list goes on. Most players also get played based on popularity than effort, no wonder our youth barely go to Europe. Europe, including lower division clubs (like 5th division I mentioned), are way better than our league. Its not only my opinion if you want we can make a poll and invite others like the public and all of Europe to decide whether the 5th division of Germany, let's say, is better than our premier league. Look at our first division, its terrible, 2 groups in Azadegan league what's the use for that. We might as well have 1 group with 24 teams and only 2 qualify. Now that's a competition.

We will just have to agree to disagree then

                      Camran Jan

The issue with IPL players is not talent. It is what's in their heads (or lack there of). From what I gather from all the discussions here and especially from what CQ said in his interview, most IPL players go after the easy money in Iran. Weren't we complaining about lack of talent TM less than year ago?

But you are right about the youth talent. From what I saw from our U17 team, the talent is certainly there. But the Iranian football system is very shallow and so will be those who are born and raised in this system.

Now is TM the right forum for exposing the young Iranians to the world stage? I don't think so. The clubs are where these players are showcased and eventually traded. IPL clubs are nothing more than a place for bunch of "most-khore" and aspiring politicians.
.... At the end I am nothing other than ordinary

Honestly, when I think back of all the rumours (and some of them were even confirmed by the clubs) and offers Ansarifard had, from Dortmund, Blackburn, Everton, Celtic, FC Steaua Bucureşti etc and he didn't go, makes me want to bang my head in to a wall...
I hope he leaves Iran atleast after the world cup, I really believe he can become a big player if he would move..

I highly, highly doubt that Dortmund made an offer for Ansarifard ...

The main problem in the Iranian football system is not scouting talented players but it's destroying talents that we already have... (Karim Ansarifard, Gholamreza Rezaie...) and soon to be destroyed (Bakhtiar Rahmani, Payam Sadeghian, Mehdi Nazari, Reza Haghighi, Yaghoub Karimi...) unless of course they become legionnaires in first or second tier of Europian football. (BTW, my first post on Persian Football Forums :P)

Ansarifard will be 24 after the WC. It's really now or never. 2 more years in IPL and he can forget about getting a European career. Nekounam and Shojaei did it, but, I don't put Ansarifard in the same class as those two players.
