He wouldn't ever get the opportunity to even play for Bhutan, let alone Iran. We should let this guy first be actually good then consider his disciplinary problems in case he becomes an option for TM.

Domestic coaches prefer IPL players.

I believe Radjabali-Fardi got talent. He played for all Germany youth sides, we should try him out for the LB position in the upcoming qualifiers.

3.Bundesliga is a different lower tier league than others in Europe. Germany is one of the best football countries in the world, with good infrastructure and great youth development system / organization. Transfermarkt has listed the 3.Bundesliga even more worth than the Qatari League or IPL (and I am not saying 3.Bundesliga is better than IPL), but I think it is not as bad as some members think.

If you ask me, based on the fact that he played for all youth levels of Germany (a sign of having some talent to me), makes me think he should get a try-out for TM. He is 23 which is not old, and we need a replacement for Pooladi who got sarbazi issues. Call him up for the upcoming friendlies / qualifiers, he expressed his interest to play for TM too.

I think the mark ''3rd division'' basically rules him out from a call-up.

Julian Green (player for USA) also got called up to the WC 2014 squad when he was playing in the 3.Bundesliga

Playing in a good league doesn't do everything. You have plenty of garbage players in big leagues that wouldn't have the level to be in TM squad.

My remark is general, not focused on the guy you quoted.

Iran is not so desperate to search players in swedish 2nd league, or german 3rd league. we are not like an homeless guy doing the garbage in the street. We had sent plenty of players from IPL to very good europeans teams, we had U17 being successful in several WC. The quality is there.

I don't like the idea that everything in kharej is better than in Iran. I know iranians are a complex inferiority towards western in general but still. Sure we have a lot of flaw, but the only thing we need from Europe is a decent TM coach and decent clubs purchasing our talents.

Possible Team Melli Call Ups Playing Abroad

I'll say that I agree with PSGman.

Just to put things into perspective, Lebanon's defender plays in 2. Bundesliga. We shouldn't be aiming this low, but anyway 95% of the suggestions of abroad players in the forum are probably not going to even be considered by CQ as they are not realistic.

I'd say if this guy was 19 and playing there it would've been kinda interesting, but at 23 in the 3rd German league? I think he simply won't make it even on the bench.

We have better/as good prospects in Iran around the same age, Im thinking of Nejadmehdi that was called up recently, Heydarieh from Paykan etc... We don't need to get Afghanistan desperate and scout those leagues. Developing talents in our league will end up being much more beneficial in the end, improving both our leagues and TM on long term.

As I said, one day we make fun of Iraq for having a 3rd division player in England (who's actually one of the best players in his team and the league from what I've seen, not that it's a great accomplishment but still), the other we suggest a 4th English division player the same age

Anyway I trust CQ on his abroad scouting and I believe he won't call up any nonsense low profile player just because he plays his football in Europe. For instance Nazari, Davari, Beitashour all play abroad and are higher caliber than all players suggested on PFDC but were not called up more than few times while some IPL players got their spots.

The entire point of this thread was to post about "possible" team melli call ups from abroad. If people don't like it, i don't know why they keep stating their opinion in this thread. We got it, some members don't prefer 3.Bundesliga players over IPL talent and that's perfectly fine. But this thread should be used where it's made for and there are people (like me) who like to see these players tested.

I totally agree with Kiarash here. We can post about possible Iranian players abroad and a short critic is enough not all opposing ideas and so. We can debate about them somewhere else.

I have to say I am guilty here myself, because I have done long criticism as well in the past.

Iran is behind Europe and South America but Iran is not Nepal. Afghanistan has some players from the 3rd German league and even 2. Bundesliga in their national team, Lebanon from 2. Bundesliga, and this guy maybe deserves a call up there, but not in Iran. Some of you guys just aim too low out of false desperation. If this guy gets into a better team, fine we should test him, but for now, his "CV" is far from showing a TM worthy call-up.
