According to Wikipedia, the last time South Korea defeated Iran in their own country was in a friendly match in 2005. Prior to that, the last time South Korea had beaten Iran in their own country was in another friendly match in 1971. Those are the only two times that South Korea has ever defeated Iran in South Korea.

This means that South Korea has never defeated Iran in a competitive match in South Korea ever.

the only player that looks suspect is Shojaei, i just do not have a good feeling about him in this campaign. he looks lost, frustrated and overly angry. he better not pick up a red card tomorrow!!

i agree iran has not lost in korea for a while and TM play much better when they need result, best example in 1997 against australia 2-0 down, we have a good team every one fit beside ashkan of course, but i believe if we follow CQ tactic well , we will have our chances to score considering korea has 2 suspended players and iran has strong midfield, we need nekounam,jabari,ando and gucci to be on fire...to be frank we need all our players to step up thier game cause this game is do or die for all iranians, a win would mean iran in world cup,players going to play in europe, iran getting good sponserhip deals and good money coming in and iran playing world class teams in world cup therefore we need to win and go to world cup!we have to!

Not sure what you are talking about. He played quite well in the last two matches. How does he look lost and frustrated? Are you a Psychiatric doctor who can evaluete people based on a picture or two???

i cheked the timing,they are not the same.....australia play 19.30 local time which is 5.30 am toronto time
while jordan play 19 local time which is 12 pm toronto time....

Group A games, Iran vs Korea, Qatar vs Uzbekistan, are being played simultaneously (at the same time)
